getting good pic All the pics of yorkies on here are so cute, how do u guys do it. I can never get a good pic of Tootsie. She has so many beautiful handmade dress and can never get a good shot of her sitting and showing the dress and her cute face. Any tips would be appreicated |
I have great luck with Laddy but Kyra is a chore. I just keep after it till I get a few good ones. Laddy sits on command though and Kyra is still only 5 months old so thinks she has to have a treat to sit. |
Lots of practice and good lighting... |
I take lots and lots of pictures to get really good ones. For every 50 pictures I may get one or two good ones. :D:D I also have found a treat helps me to get their attention. Which helps me to get them to look at the camera. Lighting is an issue for me. Seems like I am either too light or too dark. So I think a lot of it is just practice practice practice. And take lots and lots of pictures each time. Good luck!! |
Someone wrote a thread with suggestions. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...aby-101-a.html |
I just bought a new memory card for my camera this week. My last one is full, and every half-way decent photo of ZoE on it, I think I've posted here on YT. That means I'm getting about 20 decent photos out of 2000 taken...:D |
Unfortunately my two think they're Sean Penn, and I'm the papparazzi! Connor is not so bad, but Neo will NOT sit still if he sees the camera! |

I have tried it once just messing around. I wanted to wait to get a different treat that don't normally eat to use for photo shooting. I haven't done that yet so I haven't went any further with it. |

I take a lot of pictures in the hopes of getting a good one. Callie absolutely hates looking at my camera and runs when she sees it sometimes I guess because of the flash but my iphone takes really good pictures without the flash so I have had to resort to that lol. I have yet to get a good picture of Callie and my moms yorkie Sammy. It can be really hard and frustrating lol. |

Take lots and lots of photos, preferably in natural light with a flash. |
3 Attachment(s) I have not looked at that thread but plan to. I have been very lucky with Lola she is such a busy girl but takes nice photos. I have made a photo area in my office and it is high and secure, I put box and drape throws and material and so fort on different level boxes and use props that go with season or dress, perhaps because it is out of her element she does not play, but LOL does lay down allot. I tried the squeaker toy but she is so crazy for toys she jumped down off the dresses, so now I have a bell i ring or make funny clicking noises to get her to look at me, if you can have some stand behind you that will help as well. or I will say words she likes let treat, squirrel, walk. I attached a few I did for Easter and there are more on my albums under my profile. |
