Oh My... So Ralph and I started a game where I throw him his stuffinless toy and he catches it in the air! Its a fun game. But the game has taken a turn for the annoying. If i do not play the game when Ralph wants to...which is now at midnight, when we are watching our late night TV shows, about to go to bed, he get a spurt of energy and decides to take these toys (he has to sleep with them) and play the game on his own, which is fine. Until he starts throwing them in the air, off the bed!:eek:He takes all three of them, throws them off and makes me get themm! And it doesnt happen just once it happens 30-40 times so I am getting up and down up and down at midnight every night! And I am convinced my little stinker knows it is annoying to me! I regret teaching him this game... |
Sounds like someone's getting a great midnight workout :D and someone's having fun watching that person!!! Romeo gets a burst of energy around 11pm and likes to be "chased" around the house; this can go on for an hour. Just when I think he's exhausted and quits he jumps up and goes for another round. Oh, the things us parents must deal with :D:D:D |
Awe Ralph wants to play Mommy;) Georgie will do this at 1am on occasion with this squeaky toys. My husband and I are like really Georgie? LOL When he was younger he had a ball he would chase around and make the most high pitched squeal because it would roll away from him. That ball was hidden somewhere I don't even remember now LOL |
a bit different but my cedric has to sleep with his toys also or...bullies or whatever he fancies that day. so for instance we go to bed. im sleeping he decides he wants something of his and cannot get it up the stairs....well guess who he calls on?? hehe yup momma bark bark bark momma get up i need you. thankfully he is no longer doing it every night and some toys he has learned to get a running start and he can make it up the stairs with them but it really just leaves me laughing. i just love him so much!! even when he wakes me up. and im grumpy without my proper sleep but for my furrbabies well ill go without. |

Ahah! Aw i am the same way! I will do anything for my fur baby! Ralph used to do that, but I now know we need a bully stick, antler, and 3 favorite toys along with his blankey on his bed which is on my bed. If we have these items we are good for the night. |
aaaw, don't ya just love how well they train us? |

I almost choked on my coffee reading Ralph's new fun game! :lol tearsI thought I was only one who would even consider rolling out of bed endless times a night to get Yazmin's toys! After many sleepless nights and missing segments of my favorite shows, I finally started saying "You Go Get It" over and over until she got the hint that I wasn't movin again! Now Yazmin flys down her ramp and returns her toys.:D |
yelp.. I am in the same boat!! I thought when my children were grown I would get some sleep. Then I got a yorkie:rolleyes: |
So basically you are playing the game, LOL.. |
I really thought this was a serious request for training help.Until I read the post. My dogs get away with what, I let them get away with. Yours is the same. You could just say No and put the toys up. But, then you would have to look at that sad baby face and hear him complain. It is up to you. |
