Bully sticks out of stock for many items?? I wanted to order some odor free bully sticks but most of the sizes are out of stock. They do have the 25 pack of the 9 inch...but that's way more than I need and I get the 6 inch normally. They have the spiral ones, but I don't know if she will like them and I'd like to order about 10. Since I have to pay for shipping there's no point in ordering much less. Has anybody noticed this happening before? I just wonder if there is a problem with the company or anything? (bestbullysticks.com is where I looked-we used them before and she liked them) |
I hadn't noticed, and I just received my shipment on Monday. I order 50 at a time of the 6" ones. |
50 at a time? How many furbabies do you have? One standard 6 inch lasts maggie at least a week. She goes on spurts with them. The current one is a very dark brown and she seems to like it better than past ones that were lighter. I try to give her a new one when i feel guilty that I am leaving her or something, so she probably gets only 1 or 2 a month... |

yes i got an email from them today with a 15% sale and each time i get a sale email and check they are always sold out of what i am looking for. |
Sure, at one a day I'd buy in bulk also! Maggie has lots of toys and stuff. She spreads them throughout the family room and hallway. Every now and then I gather it all up and put it in a pile. She goes to the pile and pulls out whatever she wants. Her stash currently has 2-3 bully stick about 3 inches long....She will randomly pull one out to chew. I wanted to order new ones and throw out the old ones, but I'll have to wait until they are in stock! |
I only let mine chew for 10-15 minutes at a time. With my two they get competitive with each other and quite aggressive in their chewing, so I worry that they will choke on the last couple of inches in a fearful frnezy the other might come along and steal their treat. Since I discard them at 2 inches or so, I like the ones that are a little bit longer. It's really funny though, because I set a timer and let them chew. When the timer goes off they bring me what's left and drop it at my feet and get a biscuit treat in turn. Talk about spoiled. :p Oh, I forgot to add, I like bestubllysticks too and need to order! |
Did you try the best bully place on ebay? I get five 12" sticks at a time for around $15.00 and that is with the shipping included. The 12" last her a long time and I find it makes sense since I throw them away when they are 3" to 4" long so I don't have to worry about her choking on the end of one. They are as big as she is but she doesn't seem to mind. |
I noticed that they have not had the braided 12" for a very long time and that is what I like to get Callie because it lasts her a lot longer but whenever I email the company they say they will be back in stock soon and they haven't been. |
I buy Miss Priss several at a time and just keep them in the freezer, she seems to really like them right out of the freezer too. It's odd that so many like the darker colored ones, Miss Priss does too. |

I just ordered some and they are not the durable kind. Max ate 1/2 of a braided bully in a 15 minute sitting and then had loose stools. I am going to have to order the right kind soon. Hopefully the Bully Stick people will see this thread and get busy. :) |
Go to doggyloot.com they have the best order free bully sticks I have seen. |
