Dog Hotel Recomendations I'm planning our family vacation to Ocean City Maryland. I have found a place called the Dog Hotel in Ocean City. Has anyone heard of them? We live in Phila, and I want to take Jada with us. However not pets allowed during the time we will be there. So I want to put her in a doggie hotel thats close to where we will be staying. Any suggestions. The only other place I found was an hour away. This place is five minutes away from our hotel. |
I have seen it several times on our way to OC. I haven't heard any reviews but there is also a Dog hotel in Rehoboth Beach you could check into as well. It's called Doggies at the beach Doggies at the Beach, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Good luck and enjoy your vacation:) |
Thanks I will. I'm really freaking out over this. She usually stays with a family member. But this year I have no one and I want her to be close by:p |
I can understand why I would be worried too. Both seem like nice and friendly facilities:) |

That link scared the crap out of me and Ralph! I had my volume on my laptop all the way up without knowing and then all of a sudden when I go to the website It barked...i jumped, and Ralph woke up and I thought some dog got in our house! LOL |

LOL. It is fine! I just wasn't expecting that! LOL |
Best Friends Pet Care has excellent boarding facilities (at least in my area). I have never used because I am a CRAZY parent who refuses to leave Romeo with anyone, family included. Several of my friends have used Best Friends' service and they highly recommend. The facility is equipped with webcams which you can view via the internet, and on your smartphone too. Worth checking to see if there's a facility where you will be on vacation -- they always have photos online. |
Keep us posted because I am looking for a beach vacation in NJ DE or MD too and dont know what to do with Maggie. I'd like a hotel on or very close to the beach but none seem to allow pets. I'm not really a condo person and they are always a couple blocks off the beach, and only a few allow pets. |
Marriot Residence Inn allow pets and they have apartment-like rooms..... We use them often when not taking the RV. I recommend them. |
Doggie Hotel I live outside of Rehoboth Beach, DE and if I'm not mistaken Doggies at the Beach is strictly a doggie daycare. In the fall most of the hotels in the area are dog friendly especially during greyhound weekend when rescued greyhounds come from all over the country. I think that the Best Western in Dewey Beach(next to Rehoboth) is pet friendly year-round but I'm not positive. I will think about good kennels in the area and let you know. |
Doggie Hotel I just came to me. I would suggest calling the Ocean City, MD chamber of commerce for a list of hotels that are pet friendly. They should have a listing, and also ask about kennels in the area then look to see if they have websites. |
