I post this at Christmas for Precious and her mom Maureen - some of you have seen her before as I posted it last year....but hope everyone who has NOT heard of Precious will read this ...

I wanted to share for those who don't know the perils of Puppy Mill & horrible breeders & pay a tribute to those still living this awful life - we need to always remember the poor dogs still living cold, hungry, & sick ...as prisioners.

It's a HAPPY ending to a tragic story.

She led such a hard life ...was rescued.... and now she is loved.

I remember this story well. Precious was thought to be a Chinese Crested due to her raw, hairless body. But she is a little Yorkie girl! She is one lucky little girl because she survived a puppy mill and is now spoiled by her new family. Precious' story always makes me cry.

Thank you so much for sharing her story Villette. It's a good reminder.

awww what a touching story and it is so nice of people to take in these little dogs and make them one of their own. Some people have the heart to look past the outside and see whats on the inside and now just look at how beautiful this little girl is. I wish that every animal had a life like ours do here on yorkie talk and someday hopefully every animal will. Thank you Villette for posting such a good story it really makes me thankful for my little furbabies!!

Me too - every Christmas - (Well the last 2) I try to pay her a tribute -

The picture with the Christmas Candles gives ME CHILLS.....the day I got it from her mom - I busted out crying....(yes I'm a big baby) but if you knew ALL her medical conditions and how truly abused they found her - you'd be crying too - It's an AWESOME ongoing rescue story for a wonderful little yorkie.

Poor Baby... This story is very moving. What a happy ending for pet and owners. There are "Angels" in this world. Thanks V for posting this. :)

I can access the site, but from the pictures, I can imagine the story. The candle picture is amazing! I looked at the first picture and thought it was 'Sam the Ugly Dog.' :eek: I am so glad she finally got the home she deserved. :luvu:

Villette TY for posting this. I rememeber this story too well. I just love happy endings, and this one was huge. Im so glad that Precious was rescue and is doing so well. Like others My wish is that all pets can have happy endings like this one. Merry Christmas Precious!

Thank you for sharing this, i couldnt believe its the same baby. That candle pic is so touching and so are the others!!

The first pic is SO sad, its HARD to believe that people can be THIS cruel to an innocent animal, this is one of the most abused animal pics i have ever seen :(

That is sooo sad and sweet at the same time! Poor Precious has had a very rough life! I am glad these people found her and are taking great care of her! :love:

The story of Precious should be mandatory reading at every pet store in the world before anyone buys a furbaby from them...Wonder how much trouble I would get into for posting that story in the Petsmart and Petco here in town.

Just thinking about that little innocent living creature having to go through what she did before being rescued makes this old mans eye tear up.. Gotta go find Gabbi Lynn and give her a big hug and tell her how much I love her...

I had forgotten about Precious....shame on me....and now am reminded. Thank you so much for posting about this again. It is truly a miracle. This is the kind of post that brings tears to my eyes and makes me forget any problems I may think I have. If only every single animal (and human) could be saved and have a happy ending like this....

Wow Villette...I remember the story of Precious, and it's so great that it's on here now for all to see. She is so loved and cared for now, and she is sooo happy that it reflects in her pictures. That photo by the candles truly brings tears to my eyes, and I love knowing that these people saved her life. They were not worried about how she looked, they just wanted her to get well, and now the beauty that was on the inside of this precious baby is seen on the outside as well.
