Time for a Milo update I have been so busy with Milo I haven't much time for anything else. The potty training is proceeding but let me say this, Milo will not use a pee pad,PERIOD! You can put them down wall to wall, tape them to his butt or put him in the package with the unused ones....he will not pee or poop on one of these pads. I have been using a crate instead. He has taken to it very well. I have a small backyard where I live and he really loves it. I took him from the crate to outside, he sniffed around a little and went pee...progress has been good. We are still working on it but he is doing very well. He has one habit I am not sure how to attack. He comes in the bedroom if I am on the bed watching TV, looks at me and barks. Thinking he has to go outside I try to pick him up and he attacks my hand. He thinks he is playing but his biting hurts like hell and he needs to learn to stop this ASAP, any input would be appreciated. All the time I was wondering what to do about his ears, guess what? They stood up by themselves...problem solved. All in all things are going well. He is scheduled for the vet next week so I want that to be as pleasant as possible. The last thing I want is to have to fight with him every time he has to see the doc, I'll let you know how it turns out. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...i/IMG_0492.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...i/IMG_0491.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...i/IMG_0484.jpg |
Omg, he is just too cute ! |
Very cute! We gave all of our pups growing up a sock with a knot in it too lol. We tried a few different things when Callie was a puppy and nipping the one that worked was a squirt bottle and to say no and squirt her, she got the hang of it very fast and you would just have to show her to the bottle. We tried the can with pennies in it but it didn't work and now she is scared of loud noises which I read can happen if using a training method of a loud noise. |
Milo is adorable. Georgie used to bite when he was playing it was something he grew out of. I am glad he is doing so well:D |
He is adorable,, |
Aww! What a cutie pie! |
My first time on I was just wondering my Yorky is going to be 10 years old started getting wart like bumps on her took her to the vet twice they just said their old age spots but they’re really getting big and Awful looking . Just wondering if anyone has had this and if there’s anything that can be done |
My now passed girl use to get a lot of warts that were removed surgically. Around 2010 my vet started freezing the warts, it's a spray, 2 sometime 3 treatments were needed for the wart to dry up and fall off, much better then going under anesthesia then having them stitched and much less expensive and painless for the dog. Ask your vet about freezing the warts. |
Thank you so much I am not sure if their wards when I took her to the vets he told me they were growth’s And if I wanted them removed she would have to go under. Thank you so much. |
I suggest you see a dermatologist, you say they are getting bigger and awful looking. If you keep your baby in long coat not a grooming problum, my passed girl was kept in a puppy cut, there was a wart that I had not seen and was shaved off by the groomer, I won't go into detail of what it looked like and the vet bill I had to pay. Bumps, lumps, any kind of a skin growth can be an issue if your baby sports a puppy cut. Is it you or your vet that does not want it surgically removed. These growths could be tumors, maybe a 2nd opinion by another vet is in order. If my vet told me they were "old age spots" but they are growing I would getting a 2nd opinion or, off to a dermatologist. JMO |
I will call today in Florida visiting my son’s Think I will check around here see if there’s a dermatologist and take her to the vet my son goes to . Thank you so much ! |
Skin tags can grow big and look awful. My moms rescue yorkie had them bad and we just had them removed when he got his dental. They don’t really cause harm. |
