Wouldn't it be wonderful if someone could be sent all the clothes that all of us are tired of or don't fit our dogs (we should be paid a nominal fee for our clothes) and then these clothes could be resold to another person (at a great price) who is looking for clothes. I think the person doing this should be paid a little for their trouble (it could be a lot of work), and the prices should cover postage, etc.

I am watching my little dog already outgrow a couple of darling little outfits that I'm sure another Yorkie owner would love to have. And, my dog has worn them only a couple of times. We really should be recycling all these clothes. Don't you agree!

It would be like a Yorkie Mail-Order Good Will.

I was thinking we could do something like pay $4 for an outfit and resell it for $6 plus postage.....

Just an idea!!!!!

Thats a good idea. Or what about some type of trade? We post what we want to get rid of and what we would like. Then we pay our own shipping and trade the items, then our yorkies have new clothes all the time circulating. Or carriers, leashes, or whatever. That would be neat.

I have traded numerous times with people on YT in the past. It might be a little difficult to organize and guesstimate the sizes, but I think it's a good idea.

We could ask admin. if there could be a place for buy sale or trade? Everyone that wants to buy sale or trade an item could post there. Then we tell our sizes and all that stuff. It would be at our own risks of course. But dont think there would be that much of a problem as long as everyone was honest. I only have two sweaters and a vest jacket for Muffin right now but I am always looking for cheap or free clothes! Love them yardsales but getting cold now.

I think thats a great idea!! I can't really afford new stuff for Daisy with the holidays and all...but am always wanting new stuff for her!!

I've sent hand-me-downs to a couple of members on here. I think it's great. If our not-so-little guys have outgrown something - then it shouldn't go to waste!

That is too funny. I was going through Isabella's clothes yesterday & their are acouple that don't fit over her head anymore. I was thinking that someone on YT could probably use them. I'm sure I have more from the boys also. I get on YT today & you all have started a thread about it LOL!!!!

I am going to check For Sale or Wanted also.

It would be a great place to mention clothes that we have for sale - and I would think we can include pictures if we want to.

Since these clothes are used - It be nice if the prices could be kept "very reasonable?"

The other thing we need to do is ---- when people get on the forums and mention buying clothes or looking for clothes ---- refer them to the For Sale and Wanted Forum. In time, people will be checking this forum out looking for clothes.
