what I saw today Today I saw something that really made me go . Me and my grandma had just dropped my mom off at her house and were driving through her neighborhood and its a simi busy neighborhood with around 700 houses and people speed all the time well here is two kids maybe 7 and 8 chasing around a yorkie pup no leash or tie out or anything and no adult. I actually think I stopped breathing for a minute. There are many dogs that go lose in my moms neighborhood but I have never seen someone let a pup go lose it seems so dangerous with any dog let alone a pup who knows no fear. Also no collar and there are woods around that the pup could get away from the kids and get lost in or it could run in the road and get killed. I really don't understand what people are thinking. The parents may think there kids are having great fun with the pup but what if it got hit by a car those poor kids would be damaged or what if they lost there new pup in woods and it never came back. |
yeah , this is so common it's scary. i just do not understand people. |
It seems that common sense is a lost trait these days. |
Oh my! That is awful! What on earth are those parents thinking? |
Scary... wonder if it was their pup or if it got away from someone else? |
Scary and I too wonder what are people thinking. |
I see this a lot. People in my neighborhood don't think it's necessary for dogs to be on leash or even in fenced yards. So sad. I know my neighbor has lost several dogs to cars because they let them run around out front without any supervision or a fence. Guess what the kids got for Easter? Two puppies :( |
What's that saying, "you can't fix stupid..." Some people just amaze me with their lack of common sense.... |
These poor kids - at that age to be let out alone in a neighborhood - not to mention trusting them alone with a dog! And that little puppy left to the care of little children! Poor Yorkie baby. There are so many thing scary and wrong about this in any scenario, let alone today's world. Most people won't let little kids out of their sight without a guardian let alone allow them to run free around in a neighborhood with a tiny dog w/no collar/tags. All 3 could very well go missing as we all know too well, not to mention the many mishaps that are waiting. Plus, I would never trust a little child's judgment to properly care for either themselves or a dog all on their own. They are little kids - and though many are ultra-sophisticated and advanced in many social issue & schooling at this age over kiddos at this age 30 years ago, their little minds and brains are not developed enough or prepared to handle many things that they could suddenly be confronted with concerning their own or the pup's well-being and safety. One wonders if they are home alone. |
