So tempting Gypsy is such a doll. It took us a couple years to decide we were at a place in our lives with our kids in order to have a Yorkie (my favorite breed)! Even my husband. Has fallen in love with the breed too. Now that I spend more and more time with her... It makes me consider getting another, and even perhaps finding a mentor to help me find and then start showing a show quality Yorkie.... Of course the main hump is financial. I go to school, but I still have most of my day that I could devote to such a project... Anyway, I guess I'm speculating and seeing what others think :animal-pa:animal-pa |
I would love to adopt another. We got Katie Scarlett as a puppy and love her so much. She is the center of our world. But I would love to adopt another yorkie from a shelter and give it a good, loving home but my husband says no. He said if we ever move into a bigger home we can but not right now. I think our home is plenty big enough but I dont want to do anything until I know he is all for it too. But one day....;) |

I guess you always have to consider the future. Will your time at home increase or decrease? Will your employment start taking up more of your time or less. I know many people who work outside the home show dogs but those who have more free time have quite an advantage. It can be a nice hobby. It depends on how far you want to go with it. Showing a dog involves a lot of travel usually. |
It really is about time and I am lucky enough to work eveings so there is someone here with the furkids while I am at work. |
