This is so annoying/frustrating Parents who let there elementary kids walk HUGE dogs that weigh more then them! I was just walking in my neighborhoos and this kids dog saw Ralph and bolted and the kid just dropped the leash. Thank goodness i picked Ralph up but geez dont let your little kid walk these dogs alone i feel like its an accident waiting to happen. Maybe im wrong |
You are NOT wrong! Little kids cannot control a big dog and should not have that responsibility with no adult along. |
I will confess that our son who is 4 1/2 walks our Boxer Coco and not Georgie. There is no way I would let him walk Georgie I would be so nervous. However, Coco doesn't chase other dogs or even run (she is 12 1/2) so I have no fear of that. My husband and I are always right there too. Oh and Coco actually only weighs 10 more lbs than my son he is a big dude at 4 1/2;) |
I think it is totally fine if the parent or someone whos an adult there but when they are all alone it worries me. |
Personally I wouldn't let my son in Elementary school walk alone at all with or without a dog. I can't believe people actually do that! We live in a nice neighborhood and there is no way! I completely agree with you! |
I agree! I was shocked! My godmom lets her child who is 9 walk there labordoodle all by herself and im just like noo. That dog is three times her size and someone could come and tKe her! My godmom is like its a nice neighborhood im just like soo that doesnt mean she is safe! |
Bad things can happen in nice neighborhoods too! I don't mess around and take any chances. My husband and I were talking about people that let their kids walk to the bus stop alone. My poor son at 14 will be like Mom you don't have to sit at the bus stop and wait until it comes LOL |
