Update On Annie And Her Babies

For those who don't know, Annie isn't a yorkie, she's a cat. She was a stray I took in and she had her babies last night. Annie and her babies are all doing wonderful, babies are all nursing very well and Annie is eating, drinking and going poop and pee. I talked to the vet this AM, they said when the Momma is doing this, it's a very good sign and normally means she doesn't having kittens. She had a total of three babies, I haven't looked to see if they are males or females yet. Here's a few pics of them. Enjoy!

The kittens are so adorable - they look a lot like their mom. My sister has a gray cat names Smokey and my gray cat is named Frosty.

I hope they continue to do well.

Thank you so much everyone. I couldn't help but chuckle at the "Grandma" comment, cute, lol :-) Now I have to read up on what to do to take care of baby kittens, as I wasn't planning on this. But, what's done is done and now I need to educate myself and do the best I can for these lil ones. Annie will be getting spayed after the kittens are weaned, I've already spoke with my vet about this. I don't know who's cat she was, but she'd been coming here and sleeping in the cat box with our late beloved Squeeker who we lost to cancer a about 6 months ago. When we had to give Squeeker back to God, I couldn't turn Annie away, so I put food out for her still, as she looked starved when she came here. Anyhow, whoevers cat she was, she isn't anymore. I'll be getting her spayed and she's now a strictly inside cat, and no more babies. This is gonna be terrible trying to find good, loving forever homes for them. As picky as I am about our furkids, I can only imagine how I'm gonna be about the homes these babies go to....

I'm so glad you took Annie in. She deserves a better life. Good luck finding the kittens home... I took in an abandoned 3 week old kitten and nursed it until he was old enough to go to his forever home. It's hard, but remember that you are giving them a better life than they ever could have hoped for :)

Happy Birthday, little ones! Welcome to the world! You are some very blessed kitties to be living with Tracy. So happy all went well for the little mama. Please update us with pictures as they grow. I always smile to see brand new life. They are blessed to have you, Tracy. It's time to think about names.

You're so very kind Kim, thank you for such thoughtful and nice words. I hadn't planned on naming them, only because it's a thing around our house, if we name them, that normally means we keep them, and I'm not keeping these lil ones, lol. The plan is to find them forever, loving inside homes. The kids keep sayin, ya, ya, right Mom, we know how that goes. These animals come up our driveway and never leave, lol. I'll keep updating with pics as they grow for sure :-)
