Shirt from a Onsie 3 Attachment(s) Hi. Just thought I would post my latest fashion... I bought a soft newborn onsie set at Ross. Copper weighs about 4 lbs. I cut off the long sleeves and cut off the snaps at the bottem. I hemmed the tummy shorter than the back and also hemmed the sleeves. I was on vacation and did not have a sewing machine with me, so the stitching was done by hand. I really like how it came out. The pants have the cutest dog applique on them. I want to think of a way to cut them up and use it too. If anyone has any good ideas...throw them my way!!!:) |
Omgosh, that little tee-shirt is darling. Great job and by hand to boot! I hope someone can help the the pants, those are so cute too:thumbup: |
Wow that is great. I wish I had that nack. Maybe if I keep trying I could get it. I would like to see the belly side of the shirt. Can you do a picture of that? The pants, I wonder if you are going to have to cut them to velcro around the back legs. I have seen them done that way in the doggie clothes. And the belly part cut out. |
Cute! I wish I was handy like that. |
Too cute, I love the shirt. |
Lynn, great job whipping up the shirt by hand. Copper is quite an adorable model :-) |
4 Attachment(s) Ok...first I apologize for spelling onesie wrong. Bugs me that I can't change that in the title. Here are pictures of the back of the t-shirt as well as the set I bought. The green t-shirt already had short sleeves. I will probably go over my hand stitching with the machine eventually. |
The pants...I thought about making a harness vest and using the applique on the vest or maybe using it on a bag to carry dog stuff. Or....????? |
Those are the cuttiest shirts. Thanks for posting the underside. Harness vest would be cute from the pants. I'm sure whatever you do, it will be great. Good work. Post the results of the pants, can't wait to see. |
