Wow what a great thread. I guess I don't spoil my pups in the ways so far shared. Let's see I took Magic on a wkend trip, about 600 or 700 miles away, just so he could do dock diving, because he loved it. I've jumped into water on a very cold day because it looked like Razzle was having trouble bringing on in his toy. Fully dressed , just kicked off my shoes. Then we hightailed it to the motel to blow him dry. He was fine, I got a wicked cold. lol I home cook for my crew, and now they all are on different recipes. I've bought different agility equipment just for Razzle, so he has the right equipment for his size. Well we go no where without our pups. We like to picnic and find places that we can picnic in, so that our pups can be with us when we eat. On a more serious note, I think I like to spoil my dogs, in the ways that doggies like to be spoiled. A part of our life. Active, energetic, given some work to do. They are an indeliable part of my life and they know it. |

Don't know if this counts but I have just got 2 yorkie pups. Have taken 4 months unpaid leave from work to be with them and get the training under way |
Our 5 month Yorkie Jasper is spoiled. I give him meat, poultry, veggies sometimes with his kibble. (safe foods you can feed your dogs) Tonight is special he is getting turkey and veggies with his kibble. Also, most of the time I buy the freeze dried liver & chicken for treats. He loves them! |
Well when the ice cream truck comes down the street everyday mine get an ice cream cup to share. They have lots of clothes and accessories and toys I dont purchase anymore now they have alot of stuff I have gotten in the past. Every 2 months they go for a groom. We take them to our local park for walks it is a really nice park. We have taken them to places like a dogs day at the waterpark or organized dog walks. We love doing activities with them. Mostly though they just know they are loved very much. |
Disclaimer... I have never been a pet person.... Something are a given, vet, shots, baths, extra money for the good food. The fact I have a dog living in my home is a reach (trust me) The fact that if I know I am going to gone from the house, The dog comes with me. Example I have to go to Augusta, Ga to see a specialist, My appt is at 9am I have to leave my house around 6am. So the dog has to ride with me. Unless his mommy stay home with him or someone comes in and walks him. I know this does not compare to closets full of clothes, fancy beds and hair bows. But Corky is well taken care of. |

No, that is not spoiled. It is I love my baby and don't want her to hurt. Patti:D |
I buy everything for my Tobias! When I go somewhere, his stuff takes up more room than mine. At least three times bigger. It's worse than having a baby. Now if I could only train him to put his toys back after playing. :D |

I am lucky enough that when I got Ralph I was working at a dog boutique and grooming salon so I was able to bring him with me to work! (; And now I work out of my house so Ralph has had the luxury of me being with me during work! |
When ever DH and I go to the ice cream store, we take the dogs and they all get their own ice cream. They cost more than ours lol |
