Summer do & run like the wind

Zhoie sported her new summer do to NCSU for her recheck and they all loved her cut there;).
The weather was beautiful so traveling back we stopped at Wendy's and had a little picnic on the grass. Two different yorkie owners approached us (1 man, 1 woman) and raved over Zhoie's cut. Both took pictures on their phones to show their groomers, said they have never seen anything like it, LOL.
So that was pretty cool.

The other pics are when we got home....the girl was so thrilled to be out of the car....she had to run like the wind.

She is SO adorable! That is a unique cut, it's the best of both worlds. She still has the traditional Yorkie long haired look without all the bulk of the hair on her trunk. I think it's perfect:) I'd like to try that cut on my Izzy, since she has the silky coat. Luna is cottony and it tangles just looking at her:laugh: So for convenience and comfort they are both in very short puppy cuts

OMGosh, she is just precious!! I think this cut is perfect - it really shows off her cute little body. And that face!!! You really have such a pretty baby girl.

Love that last pic. She's smiling to herself 'I'm free, free again'. :)

Zhoie is a cotton coat and it works perfect for her. Ido let is grow out a little later in summer just for some winter warmth...she is just a freezie butt;)

Zhoie looks so comfortable in her new do. :) I am still debating on what to do with mine. Maggie has such a pretty coat when it's long but it seems to be taking forever to grow out this time. I kept them both shaved down like Zhoie last year for the summer.

Looking at Zhoie, I am really tempted to go ahead and give them the summer treatment.

Thanks, I do love her little body too :) They look so dang cute and dainty moving around.

Yes, NC State. We traveled from WV to her sugery on Dec 1st and now have been going back for her rechecks. I love NC, the weather was beautiful! If I ever hit the lottery....that's where I would move to:thumbup:

It would be so hard for me to cut Zhoie's coat if she had a gorgeous silky coat. With her having a modified cotton coat, no problem, I'm actually happy to get the body shaved...when it's grown out, she looks as wide as she is long, LOL.

Zhoie's coat grows like crazy, I had to clean her little round grooming table off like 4-5 times just shaving her back down. That's how much it had grown out :eek:

Yes, we are thrilled to just watch her go..sometimes it brings tears to my eyes, I'm so overjoyed:)

I love the action pictures... My daughter took pictures of Corky running, But she will not let me put them online because they are a part of a portfolio for a program she is trying to get into to.. I really wish I can share.

She's just gorgeous! She has long legs like my Ladybug. For her first grooming, I had them leave the hair on her legs. I think Ladybug has silky hair, because her hair takes forever to grow and its seems thin or stringy. I don't know if her legs will ever look this full but I tell you, looking at your gorgeous girl, I'm inspired to keep on trying! She definitely looks like a long legged super model :D

I didn't think it was possible, but Zhoie seems even more gorgeous than ever! Beautiful photographs. Such a happy girl, and one of my favorite inspirational stories of all time on YT. :)

Coco's getting the same cut tomorrow. I printed various pictured for the groomer, so hopefully she'll look just as good as your baby.
