Loving this thread, I am also trying to picture how big my Sheldon is going to be. Sheldon will be 19 weeks tomorrow and he is 4.4 lbs. I have not measured him yet as I am too lazy to look for the tape :) |
It is so cool to see these babies measurements. Thanks! Here are my kids, Brody and Mia: Measurement Brody - Mia Birthdate 3/21/10 - 3/16/10 Age 2 yrs. - 2 yrs. Withers 10" - 9" Topline 11" - 11" Neck Circumf 10" - 9.5" Chest Circumf 15" - 15" Hips Circumf 15.5" - 15" Weight 6.3 lbs 5/14/11 - 4 lbs 6/13/10 but less than Brody 8/13/11 I do not know their weights currently, but Brody was 6.3 lbs when we got him on 5/14/11 at 14 months old per his vet, and he felt a little heavier than Mia when we got her on 8/13/11 at 17 months old. Mia is only shorter than Brody 'cuz she has shorter legs...otherwise, they are almost exactly the same size. |

They are both long and skinny. :) |

Lucy and Ringo are on my Avatar ~ Lucy is 6.7 lbs and a bit overweight since her surgery. Vet would like her at 6 lbs. She'll be three years old in August. She's got the 'deer legs' too! Sonic is 10 months 5 lbs 2 oz 8 inches tall and 10 inches from neck to base of tail. Hope I did that right lol he wouldn't stay still :rolleyes: |
Brewie is..... 9 months old (in 8 days) 10.4lbs 10.5 inches tall...(which could be .5 inch out give or take...he was really hard to measure!! he's got the "show dog" run/walk down pat... but he does NOT stand up straight to be measured...Spagettti Yorkie:tongue008) 13 inches long 14 around chest |

Susie14.5 years old and is 7.9 pounds and 11 inches from neck to tail. 8 inches from ground to shoulders, its interesting seeing all these different yorkie heights and weights isn't it? We usually work in kilo's here in the uk so had to convert that, wish we were still pounds and ounces,annoying in shops as all the traders has to advertise in kilo's now and I have to convert in my head, not easy!!! |

I waited until today to answer since Wiz was getting his yearly done... Age: 16 months Weight: 7.2lbs (vet said needs to lose about 0.5lbs but no more than 0.75lbs, so ideal weight about 6.5-6.8lbs) Height: about 9" Length: about 9" |
Charlie 1 yr & 5 mos 9lbs 11" tall 12" long Or very close. He kept trying to slouch and acted all scared while I had my sewing tape trying to measure him. LOL! It was kind of hard to get his measurements. The weight is exact as of one week ago. |
Reading the other posts I see I am not the only one whos having trouble getting measurements. "OH NO!! They have the measuring tape!!" :D LOL |
Gracie is going to be 2 in May. I'm not sure how tall she is. She's already asleep. She weighs 5 pounds and about 10" long. She a squirt of a dog but has a huge personality. |
Well, I just weighed and measured Sheldon Sheldon is 20 weeks today 5 lbs 10 inches long and he is probably the shortest at 7 1/2 inches tall. He is a yorkie in a wiener dog body hahahaha |

Lola is 2.8 years old and 3.4lbs. Tucker is 2.7 years old and exactly 7lbs the last time I weighed him. I have never measured either of them but I really should because I never know what size harness or sweater or even collar to get. |
So when you measure, do you measure from head to tail? and paws to head? |
