What de' momma an' daddy peeplez call "babeez" shotz is bacsinashuns dat are s'poze to keepz us fwum gettin' bad things; like wabbies (no, not wabbits! Doggies do NOT bweak out in wabbits ), Parvo an' stuff wike dat. Though my mommy has mixed feelingz an' tinks we doggies are over bacsinated. An' don' worry 'bout him habing a baby. Dese shotz do not make ewe hab babies either. :yelrotflm though, some peeplz wud say dey bacsinate us against baby-talk ;). I hope Bwody is fewing much better by now, and can pway wiff ewe. Hope dis helpz *licks'N'wags* Yo' Fwen, Abi :heart to: |

Dear Abi, We have a new houseguest. Her name is Curri Bee and I think that she is leaving today. At least, I hope she is leaving today. How can I tell my Mamma that just because I'm being a nice girl does not mean that I like her? And I think her welcome is getting worn out. She is wearing my clothes, sleeping in my Cloud 9, tries to steal my food and my Mommy . Abi, How can I help to show Curri :bee: the door? |
Quote:
Well, to tell ya the truth, I would give Curri :bee: a chance! I have an adopted sister (Tulsa), and at first, I was not to excited about her, either! I am still possessive of my mommy sometimes; but, now I am happy Miss T (that's what we call her) is part of our pack. She is soooo funny when she plays Fetch! Miss Curri will find her place in the pack, soon :) Now, stealing food is NOT good manners! I am not encouraging aggression; but maybe if you snap at her (NO CONTACT!) when she tries to steal your food, she will get the idea to stay at her own bowl! Does mommy feed at separate ends of the kitchen, and stay close-by? My mommy does that, until we are finished eating. Then, she takes up our bowls until the next meal. Hope this helps! *licks'N'wags* Your friend, Abi :heart to: |

Thank you for the advise, Abii, but I'm confused :scratchhea......are you saying that Curri :bee: is STAYING???? :eyeballpc I thought she was just visiting for the weekend :fallen: I have been very well mannered when Curri tries to steal my food. I back off and let Mommy handle it cuz she is right there to yell at her (I like that part :lol tears) but if she is staying all bets are off  Love, Sugar Baby |

You are very good to let "mom" handle food altercations. This is very hard for yorkies to go against our instincts to protect food! Please let us know how Curri:bee: is fitting in with your pack! L♥ve, Your friend, Abi :heart to: |

but on a happier note, thank you for refraining from responding to me in baby talk :sidesplt: :yeahthat: :cheer: :cheer: |
Dear Abi, I use to have large dogs. I had the problem with them eating poop, yep poop. I don't remember much from that time, I eventually was able to block it out of my mind and now that they are in Doggie Heaven I can only remember the good things! I have (except once) ignored threads related to this topic, the post traumatic stress I experienced just at reading the titles of the thread, was too much. I hoped that by blocking it out and having Yorkies I would never have to revisit those horrid memories. Now Miss Mini doesn't even lick "herself" not even once, in the last seven years. Miss Mia is a Biewer, and well shockingly she not only licks "herself" she has started the unthinkable....Will I make it through this? |

You are most welcome...we aim to please. :p *licks'N'wags* Your Friend, Abi :heart to: |

It is NATURAL fo' doggiez to lick ourselfs. How do we getz cween? Well...akshuley, my mommy cweens my bum (but, not ebeybody's mommy wud do dat!). I heard my mommy say dat sumtymez doggies eat poo because of a dietary need, or 'coz of the carbs in de poo (tastz gud; but we don't need it!) Others say dere is no reazun - Sum do, anz sum don't . I, however (lady tho I am) cannot pass up cat poo...:o Yes, 'tis twu, readers! My name is Abi, an' I am a cat-poo-holic. My mommy is mortified and cannot unnastan' my addiction. I onlee find cat poo on walks, though, an' getz a good skwubbing an' mouth wash when we getz home! Pweez check out dis site: Stop Dogs Eating Dog Poop - Copophragla I hope dis helpz. Pweaz come back an' let us know how yew are doing. *licks'N'wags* Yo' Fwen, Abi :heart to: PS from Abi's Mom :) PLEASE everyone do all you can to avoid your dogs eating cat poo. It is toxic to them! As Abi stated, I have NO clue as to her (eh-hem) particular taste! I am just so thankful neither of mine eat their OWN poo! Obviously, I cannot keep Abi away from all cat poo on a walk if I let her be a dog and investigate; but I do stop her as soon as I see she may be eating something (usually poo!) SO frustrating! |

Once its off, i just try and act as much like a boy as i can. I put on my scariest growl, and bark likes there is no tomorrow. If that does not work, and as a last resort, i just mark up a storm. Next thing you know, i have camo t-shirts, pretty cool polo shirts, and a real nice bandana coming my way. I even got a really cool winter coat...it was all man. People say Daddy put me up to it. My lips are sealed. At least mom knows im a boy now, and that there are a ton of options for us boy yorkies out there. Top knots are for girls in my little opinion...unless i live in southern china or southeast asia of course... |

We are in the no lepto camp here besides being in the nations capital for it...so we know the struggle of considering the risks. No matter your choice we just hope it all goes well for you all and also wanted to say STOP EATING POOH! GROSSY! |

Dear Abi, you probably heard that I have a new sister :rolleyes: Here are just a couple of my many issues with her. Every single time I am getting some lovin's from Mamma that little thing butts right in. I'm not even talking politely butts in ~ she jumps on my head !! She got a new Cloud 9 the other day from her secret buddy in the gift exchange. What's Up With THAT??? I have done the last 10 GE's and now I'm sad that those packages all say Curri :bee: on them like she is all cute or something! Abigail, am I less cute than I was 2 weeks ago? Cuz it sure feels like it :fallen: :fallen: Yours truly, Sugar Baby |
My Yorkie(Biewer) is 8 months old and has her adult and baby canine teeth side by side. The vet wants to take them out at the end of the month. Has anyone else had this problem? |
