If my Yorkie will be 10 weeks tomorrow, and weighs 1 lb, 7 oz, about how big will she be when she is full grown? | To give you some idea, this is how Tobys growth has been. At 6 weeks old he weighed 1.1 lbs. At 8wks old he weighed 1.2 lbs. At 12 weeks old he weighed 1.9 lbs. At 15 weeks he weighed 2.3 lbs. He will be 25 weeks tommorow and weighs 3.2 lbs now. I am not sure how much bigger he will be. He will be 6 months old on the 25th. The breeder says she has his mom, dad, aunt, uncle, grandparents, and cousins, and that none of them are over 6 lbs, so I guess time will tell. I can tell you he has not grown any in height length or weight in over 3 weeks. He was growing weekly, and has kind of just stopped now. The breeder also said hers did not get any bigger after about 6 months old. I guess it all just depends on their lineage. He has been right on target with what the growth chart says, but as I said only time will tell I guess. I am anxious to see how big he is going to be full grown. Enjoy your new baby they grow fast. I remember when Toby could fit in the palm of my hand. The first pic is of him when he came home. The second pic of him is now. He has grown quite a bit, but he is still a little guy. I fit him in a party size ice cream container the other day, but before I could snap a pic he jumped out. |
