Floppy Ear?? Hey Everyone:) Being that Yorkies are all new to me I am not sure if this is normal or not. Busters right ear flopped down. They use to both stand straight up. He doesnt seem to be in pain and he isnt itching it or anything. Is this something tha happend to their ears? |
How old is he? Masons would do that when he teethed anafter a bath and than in a couple days they would both be straight up again! Dont worry! :) |
Floopy Ear He is 10 weeks old. He is teething badly and has been a little sleepy today. I noticed that when he is chewing on his toys he tries to get it by his back teeh((well....soone to be teeth..right now just gums)). Thanks for the reply! I can stop worrying now :)So much for me to learn! Everyone on this site is great! |
Yep, that would be him teething..theyll probably go up and down for a while! I was reall nervous too when Mason s did that. Hes 6 months old now and they havent went down for a while. Except when hes bathed but thats because hes mad!! :D :D :D |
Same thing happened with my girl. Her right ear used to flop down when she was 10 weeks old. I taped it over night and it haven't went down since. |
I have a sheet my husband and I made on how to tape the ears that we give to our puppy buyers. If interested in a copy just PM me with your email address and I will send it to you :D |
If anyone wants to look at my sheet on ears it is now on our website www.keencanines.com! A little small, but if you save it to your computer you can see it larger. Hope it helps! |
