Good Vets- Raise your hand! I have been hearing so many horror story's on people Vets. To me it doesn't sound like people have good vets, vets that care, vets that try to help you.. It is really sad. I just went through this with my Mom, she now goes to my vet :D I think people should really do research on this, don't stop until you are 100% happy with your Vet. If you have a wonderful Vet post the information. So anyone in your area is looking for recommendations they can find them here! :D I use to work with Pnut's vet years ago- He was a fill in. Then he opened his own practice. He is just wonderful. I know what I think good vet is might be different from what others think- So don't take this the wrong way. I know how he treats the animals and I sent many people to him and they were all happy. So if you know in your heart you have a wonderful Vet this is what this thread is for :D South Corona Pet Hospital Phone # 951-898-3647 Dr Sandu 1551 E Ontario Ave Ste 101 Corona, CA 92877 South Corona Pet Hospital - Veterinarian In Corona, CA USA :: Home |

This is our vet: Dr. Powers Northwest San Antonio TX Veterinarian | Ten West Bird & Animal Hospital, San Antonio TX She is wonderful and her staff is excellent. They also offer grooming here. I love the pet portal on her Web site. I can keep track of all of my pups' meds, etc. She's in San Antonio, TX. Oh, and pricing is very reasonable! She also works with specialists, so she was able to get me an orthopedic surgeon when Ruby had her LP surgery last year. I feel blessed to have found her. |
I LOVE our vet. :) We've seen a few others for emergencies, and other things, but nobody compares. They aren't the cheapest in the area, but I've always loved the way we've been treated. They share a lot of my opinions and ideas when it comes to health care for my dog and others - never have pushed a food on me, or vaccines, and have always made me feel comfortable enough to ask questions, etc. They are active on facebook which I love, it makes it feel like you can have an even better relationship with them. Jax just won their pet of the month $25 gift card!! Hehe! I am so glad I happened upon them too because the only reason I went was because Jackson was limping and his other vet couldn't get him in for days... so they accepted me the next morning and I was so thankful for it. |
Dr Chris at Churchman animal hospital is a very caring vet. Every time we have had something come up such as chachi having a tear in his cornea he was very concerned and explained everything to us and took very good personal care of him. He sincerely cares for animals |
 Can we add the addresses!!?? |
ours is awesome! our vet Toby Kimm is very caring and like a good family friend. excellent with all animals. the staff is so sweet....we all have become great friends. we have a vet hospital down the street but we don't like them at all. so we travel quite a distance to see Toby. he's totally worth it! This is, bar none, the best vet I've had for small animals in nearly 30 years. Hurst Animal Clinic - Hurst, TX Dr Daryl Williams 640 Bedford-Euless Rd Hurst, TX 76053 (817) 282-1463 He use to be in North Dallas and then moved to Hurst. It's just too far for me to travel for a vet, and I've missed him terribly since he's moved. If a true emergency came up I know I can always call him for a consultation. I've found a new place that has opened up just down the street from me in N. Dallas. I dropped by the other day to get info and the vet took time to give me the grand tour. Took me in back, showed me their operating and recovery rooms. Met the staff, really liked the place. I've done some online searches on his name and haven't found anything negative. So I'm going to, once again, have the kids records moved to this practice and pray this is the last time. |
I have AWESOME VET'S. They are kind, caring and loving. They have no problems with my participation in the care of my Girl's. I used to be a Vet Tech. They are always available. If I have an emergency I can rush right up, with no problems at from them. Tara Animal Hospital Inc |

This is my Emergency Hospital. I love them there as well. They also have 5 speciality clinics as well. I have used the speciality clinics many times over the years. Animal Emergency Hospital of North Texas |
I can't say enough about the specialist that performed Georgie's AAL surgery. They are so caring and wonderful there. If anyone living in the mid-atlantic region ever needs a specialist here is the website: VOSM: Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Group |
If anyone is in or around the Memphis area, the place we drive 45 minutes for is Cat and Cow. Interesting name I know, but they are the best. Here's feedback and general information: Cat & Cow Veterinary Clinic - Olive Branch, MS, 38654 - Citysearch |
Alliance Emergency Vet Clinic Dr. Lori Holland is the best and my son works there too..:D plus the staff is super nice and very , very compasionate and understanding.. hugs, |
For general care I go to a veterinarian group of three doctors. I like two of them. Generally they give very good care but I have to ask them not to set me up with the "other" one. It's a shame because otherwise it would be a great practice. For emergencies and care that is more involved than general care we have Cornell University Animal Hospital 930 Campus Rd Box 20 Ithaca Road Ithaca, NY 607-253-3060 They are up on all the latest and are excellent for emergency and specialist services. Just hope you never have to deal with them unless you have pet insurance and even with that it is still going to hit you hard in the pocketbook. Of course all the vets for a 100 mile radius rely on Cornell to take up their slack but many people just do not have the sort of income that it takes to enjoy that type of technology. It's sad because people of all income levels love their pets. |
I would not change my babies vet for anything. She is a wonderful woman ( Dr. Hudson ) and he is a wonderful man ( Dr. Woods ). They are two people who truly so care about the pets and if you do not have all the money up front they will work with you. Lorain Animal Clinic 4205 Oberlin Ave. Lorain Ohio |
GREAT!! Thank you guys for handing out the information. Hopefully if someone is looking in an area listed they will take us up on our recommendation. |
Highland Pet Hospital 5631 U.S. Hwy 98 S. Lakeland, Fl 33812 Phone: (863) 644-6634 The practice is very modern and state of the art. There are two women Vets. Dr. B is the senior partner and specializes in fertility and breeding problems. She is very well known for her Bull Dogs in the show ring Dr.Joanne D'haven is my Vet , she is great with the Yorkies. ( I think she is very kind) Both Vets are medically sound. People from all over the state travel to use them. They have an on site lab, x-ray, ultra sound, frozen sperm bank, and round the clock hospital staff. They do not have grooming or boarding services. (Most clients have dogs that are being shown or are active breeders. The whole staff is into obedience, bench, agility, show etc.) |

Been with our vet for 15 years now I think and I wouldn't dream of changing. They are WONDERFUL and truly care about the furbabies. Our Doc even called us when they knew our furbabies were having problems just to see how they were doing before they leave the office on Saturday. Now that's COMPASSION and CONCERN!! Dr. Bolinger (our main doc) Dr. Myers (his stand in when he's off) Doylestown, Ohio 330-658-4546 |
My Vet is awesome! Dr Daniel Braur, South Dayton Veternary Clinic, Kettering Ohio, 297-8888  |
