Greetings from Arizona Just thought I would say hi and introduce myself. My name is Larry and I live in Phoenix Arizona. I had a Yorkie named KoKo three years ago but I lost him. I was really devastated. You don't realize how close you get to these small creatures until something happens to one of them. The pain that is left behind is real and deep. It has taken me three years but I decided I am ready to get another Yorkie. I am so excited I am just like a kid. His name is Milo and I will pick him up Sunday, I can't wait. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d2...-02-06_396.jpg I have been looking at Ebay for two days looking at toys, carriers, cloths and just about everything else. This puppy is going to fill a big hole in my heart and I can't wait to start spoiling him. I am disabled and I spend a lot of time by myself. This little fur ball should go along way to providing some company, being alone all the time ins't what it's cracked up to be. Anyway it is nice to meet all of you and I am looking forward to knowing you all better. This is the start of a big adventure for me but I will probably need some guidance and this forum looks like a great place to get it. |
Awwww, I'm so happy for you and Milo! And, WELCOME to YT...so glad you found us. It's so devastating to lose a pet :(. I hope your Milo will help you continue to heal from your loss. Looking forward to hearing more about your new baby! |
Hello and welcome! Cant wait to see pictures of little Milo |
Hi welcome to YT!:) Milo is a cutie and will provide you with so much happiness congrats! |
Hi there and welcome, Milo is a cutie... |
Hello and big welcome to you and Milo. Milo sure is cute. |
Welcome to YT to you and Milo! |
Welcome to you and milo.. |
Hello and welcome to YT! Milo is adorable!:D |
Welcome Larry! You will have TONS of helpful and caring friends here....we all have recommendations for what we have found to work best for us, and for the experienced, long time Yorkie owners here, we all pretty much agree at least 75% of the time! Ask any questions you want....you will get your answers! I would suggest you ask a couple of questions at a time, and then take notes and decide what works best for you and your baby! Thrilled you have become a Yorkie parent again....healing takes time, and while the memory of your KoKo will not ever go away, the sharp, ragged edges of the pain of loosing him will soften, and little Milo will help that happen! |
I always like to recommend a couple of excellent books for your library...."Yorkies for Dummies" is excellent, and I love "Yorkshire Terriers: Smart Owners Guide"....These books, along with knowledge you pick up from here and other Yorkie owners, will be invaluable to you....those books will serve as a foundation, then you can make adjustments to fit your needs! |
Welcome. Can't wait to see more of Milo and hear how you are doing with him.:) |
