I hate moving!!!!!!!!!

I do too... But getting a new house is pretty exciting!! :D

LOL.....bless your heart:) I keep trying to talk DH into moving to the home we inherited a couple of years ago, but then I think of packing up 32 years worth of accumulated things and I cringe and shut my mouth:D

Ohhhhh, Shinja, you have my sympathies. Moving is brutal!!! Hope you are all settled in soon! :)

Moving doesn't really bother me since I do get to purge more and being excited about a new place. I hope your move goes smoothly...

I completely agree...and send you sincerest sympathies. I have done enough moving already and I don't ever plan to move again unless maybe if the house burns to the ground...in which case, moving will then be much easier! If I have to move, I think I may just want to give the new owners all the stuff I've collected for half a lifetime and start completely over! :p

YAY...I didn't know it all worked out and you bought a house! I'm so happy for you...how exciting! Moving does stink though, especially if you are downsizing...errr.

Opening moving boxes that have been stacked for months in the garage is like Christmas all over again!!!

well... its almost over!! I am back to work this week (that is why I am on, don't have internet at the new house yet... left that chore to dh..hmmmm)

I guess because the new house was not that far from the old house I though it would be easier. I hired movers.. and it was $1000.00:eek: and that is with me moving the kitchen, garage (my dh has one of his employees do that-- instaled shelving etc) and the closets. I have waaaaay toooo much stuff!!! That is the curse of a crafter..

1.) sewing machines.. 4 --and all the tools and cabinets that go with being a sewer.
2.) cricket... and all the "toys" that go with it
3.) wii... yep.. lots of programs
4.) fabric.. well the saying that the quilter that has the biggest "stash" when they die is the winner was made up for a reason... and all the quilting books and such that go with quilting
5.) cook books... well I DO teach food production
6.) 3 dogs.. and one is a yorkie that HAD her own small closet

I have carried at least 1000 loads of stuff down and upstairs!!!!

I am a horder... a very neat orginaized horder. I try to "purge" once and awhile but I guess not enough. The new house is smaller.. bedrooms the size of the closets from the old house. But there is only two of us so I have to purge more and be happy that I have a house- it is really cute and I will post pictures soon

The good news.. the movers did a good job in that there is not one ding or mark on my furniture. It is almost over and I will get to enjoy the new house.

You just have to laugh.. because if you cry you don't get any work done
