Hello and welcome... |
Hi! I hope you have good luck finding your N.FL breeder! :D |
Hi and welcome. Hope a reputable breeder in your area will contact you. Do you know how to contact breed and conformation clubs in your area? I think the Jacksonville area has some. |

No on this. ... I would love to find out how tho! |
If you have never been owned by a Yorkie before, you need to familiarize yourself, so you will know exactly what you are getting involved with! I always recommend "Yorkies for Dummies" and "Yorkshire Terriers: Smart Owners Guide"....you need to be reading these books WHILE you are looking for your breeder...as it has been said on here, find your breeder FIRST, then get your baby! Establish a relationship with your breeder first and foremost, then you can trust you will get a wonderful puppy! |
Here are some links to places you can search on the AKC website. American Kennel Club - Club Search and Directory American Kennel Club - Club Search and Directory The first one is for conformation clubs and the second link is for obedience clubs. There is also some other info on that site that might help you. Yorkshire Terrier Club of America The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America also has helpful info. None of this is a guarantee of anything. You can talk to the club people who may give you names of breeders they know of. You can go to shows. It is best to research the breed and the breeders and be very sure of who you are dealing with and that a Yorkie is really what you want for a pet. They are terriers and have some terrier traits. While many people love them they are not for everyone. |
Welcome and good luck finding a breeder, and eventually a Yorkie of your own! |
Welcome to YT! Good luck in your search! |
