photos of tails? Hi i tryed searching for a thead of photos of tails but couldnt find any?..meeshas tail isnt docked, but it looks so short,its gotten a bit longer ...and looks longer now that her fur has grown a bit but i was wondering if anyone has photos of tails docked and not docked..is there such thing as them born with naturally shorter tails, i know it isnt docked the breeder said it wasnt and its illegal to dock here, but when i look at it i kind of wonder... its medium length? lol so part of me wonders what if it was docked:eek:??..i like the long tails on them..any one know where i can find photos of docked undocked tails so i can compare them to my babys, or will it get longer when shes full grown? i couldnt find any photos really on google..thanks:) |

undocked tail Hi im brand new to this site and my yorkie puppy but her tail isnt docked and her ears are floppy but i think shes cute like that :) i will try to post a pic if she sits still enough lol |
My oscars tail is docked but i looked online and found pics of yorkies with and without docking. I think they are all cute.... |
3 Attachment(s) Jackson has a full tail. :) The only breed that I know of that is sometimes born with bob-tails is the Australian Shepherd - sometimes they are naturally born that way, others are docked. Quote:

Zoey has a "medium dock" and the hair is long. It looks like a happy flag to me. I love it. Gina had a short docked tail and it always seemed to be sensitive to touch. I called it her little stubber. |

the thread "wag that tail" has lots of good tail pictures (including my little Brewie's :)) if you type that into search you should find it right away. i know Brews tail has grown a lot from puppy at 2 months when we got him to 7 months when the next photo was taken. i'll attach the pics to show his growth |

thanks for all the photos everyone it really helped alot, i'm starting to wonder if maybe it was docked..i swear when i bought meesha she said they were undocked.. its just a little bit longer than all the docked photos, not as long as the undocked shes kind of inbetween, maybe i wont be able to tell until she is full grown?, maybe she lied because it isnt legal at the vets. either way both ways are so cute, but i would like to know,i guess i'm going to message my breeder again n asj her.. thanks |

Charlies tail is probably about three inches and the way his groomer cuts it, it looks like a flag at the end. It's cute. I'll have to get a good pic of it. |
