The end all -- yorkie stopping -- amazing delicious -- can't live with out it.... Treats. I need some for Optimus. We're moving in April and we're switching from indoor to outdoor potty training. He's stubborn as all get-out but insanely motivated by food. I need a special treat to use ONLY for successful outside potties. My local petstore has--- too many to choose from. I will say that he hates peanut butter so anything with that flavor is a no. I've read that liver is a good treat to try -- and he loves Loves LOVES cheese. If any of you have any suggestions for the yummiest more stimulating and amazing treat your yorkies go nuts over -- I am all ears. So far based on YT recommendations I've gotten a Belly Band and some Bully Sticks (these are his morning chews, so he'll let me get ready for work!) |
Tessa loves the Natural Balance Limited Ingredient Treats given to her by Jada & Michelle. So much so that we went out and got her more. Comes in a variety of flavors. Check it out: Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Dog Treats |
boil a chicken breast and cut it up. |
Freeze dried chicken or liver- Easily broken into tiny pieces to jackpot as the reward for outdoor potty. |
You can also try a different kibble than the one he normally eats. Works great for mine. |
Be careful don't let him get away with the fake pee thingy just to get a treat:D:D. Brandi fool me for several weeks before I caught on . |

I agree with the boiled chicken, Jax will do anything for boiled chicken! |
Mine are Cheerios fanatics, they also love Gerbers Graduates Puffs (all flavors). |
I potty trained Delilah with cheese cubes and a cut-up grilled chicken breast. The treats must have been a huge hit because I had her trained in 2 weeks!! |
