Bed Jumper Whenever Max gets up from one of the doggy beds or wherever he has found a comfy place to nap, Teddy immediately goes and curls up where Max has been. Sometimes Max will get up to get a drink of water and when he returns and finds Teddy in his bed, Max looks like he wants to sigh and roll his eyes before he goes to another bed. :p Do any of your Yorkies or other doggies do this? |
I have a bed jumper too. It was a little different - he jumped off a bed and ended up with a catastrophic knee injury. But, back to your question - yes, my Daisy gravitates toward 'the last warm place someone else was' -- it's so cute! |
Roxie and Pixie do that with their beds and once in awhile one of them will get brave enough to go in Nikki's bed. Then Nikki comes back and doesn't know what to do so he stands there until I move the intruder. |
Brody always goes to where Sophia is sleeping, and plops so that his butt in her face. Which makes her move, then he has the spot all too himself :p |
Jada and Bogie bed hop:D They have always done this. Even though they had the perfect place dug out in their own bed, when one gets up, the other one grabs the vacated bed:p |
Moka and Mylee are bed/spot jumpers too. I've had a little insomnia lately and I noticed one night when I was laying in bed wide awake, Moka got up and came over to where Mylee was laying and stood and stared at her until she got up and moved. Then Moka proceeded to lay right where Mylee was. It was as if she was telling Mylee to MOVE IT! LOL. |

LoL That is funny!! Peanut is an only child so he gets all his beds to himself. He has 4 beds just in the living room and dinning room and he will lay in one for awhile then go to the next haha! They are silly |

Mine will steal the spot DH or I had. I nearly always come back to find someone in my place. And ohhhhh the look they give me when I move them. :mad: :D lol |
My Jilly used to be a bed jumper with me. If I got out of bed to go to the restroom or get a snack, I would come back and find Jilly right in the spot where I was lying. Whenever I would get up from the couch or out of a chair, I would return to find Jilly right there where I had been. The only place she didn't get into shortly after I left it was the toilet seat! She just loved to get in whatever spot I had been and occupy it until I would return. She hardly ever failed to get up from wherever she was and come and immediately lie down on the spot I'd just vacated and she did that her whole life. I always wondered if she thought she was keeping my place warm or she like it for the warmth that was there or what was going on in her head when she did that! |

Momo will go cuddle up next to Mimi (awwww cute, right?). Then Mimi will get up, shake & go sleep somewhere else. I always thought Momo wanted to cuddle, but after reading what Teddy does to Max, maybe Momo is doing that to get the bed Mimi is on! |
