I have decided to not stud... Okay, after processing this, I have decided to continue looking for a little girl and not breed. Although Petie is just beautiful, smart and perfect in my eyes and I know he would be a wonderful stud. I just never had an interest in breeding..So I'm glad I had time to think this out. Did I mention how smart Petie is? It's just really hard to find a female thats either close, not alot of $$ (1500.) or not from a mill. Thats been my experience atleast until now. Now I've gotta get him fixed and a few teeth removed (poor fella). That is gonna be scary. Then I'll start looking agian..Maybe I'll find a Female thats past the puppy stage and the owners just need to place her in a new home??But puppies are just too adorable! Petie looked like a Hampster :animal36 :yorkietal :yorkiesar |
Good for you Kelly, I think you made the right decision! Now your guy will stay your guy :D |
I'm new to this forum. We had a yorkie a few years ago that got sick and died. We are now looking for another one. Our vet told us that neutered dogs made better pets. What are the pros and cons to breeding vs. neutering a yorkie that will primarily be a family pet? Thanks |

You just happen to be in the right location -Yorkie Talk- there are a lot of good breeders here who I am sure would love to help you find that new addition to your family when the time is right. This will give you time to get to know a lot of us and see who might have that baby or adult that you are looking for. |
I agree. Thanks Cathy |
