yorkie case on judge judy |
That was very interesting and when they brought that dog out...it was cute, but sure looked like a mix of some kind. I liked the verdict! |
The dog is beautiful but it is not full Yorkie it is definitely mixed with something else that breeder is clearly a charlatan for not being honest. I Love judge Judy! |

it is a cute puppy, I liked Judge Judy's verdict also.. I think the breeder knew the puppy wasn't full blooded at the time she sold it, that is probably why she don't register her dogs to akc. I never heard of aca. |
GO Judge Judy:thumbup: |
 Good work Judge Judy!! The dog is adorable, but I agree with everyone else. That is not a full blooded yorkie. |
That video should be a stickie!!! Love her message. "When buying a pet, do your research, and do your homework!" We hear that all the time here, don't we! I couldn’t believe the breeder, “It’s not a show dog”, lol, no kidding. Then the breeder says she could have just returned it, by then, you’re in love with the dog, so who’s going to return it? Glad she got a big refund. Judy did well on this one! |
The "breeder" says its scary for people to sell Yorkies today what if they get a little bigger or a different coat.....UH how about 20 pounds bigger and have the coat of a poodle LOL. What a shame! So glad the plantiff won. It's not even about how much she loves the dog it's about being deceived! |
Who would have thought Judge Judy was a pet person? lol! That dog sure did look like a big lovebug! |
Thank you for posting this video. I would never have seen it. I'm glad the lady got $550 back. He's a cute little dog. |

I wonder if this breeder is on Yorkietalk? I wish they had given her name. |

That looked like a Yorkie-Poo to me and I am glad Judge Judy knew her stuff. |

I think we need to keep this handy incase any newbies are looking to buy from a non AKC or Canadian (CKC) breeder. I really like how she explains the importance of the AKC standard and clearly labels this woman as a greeder. |
Thanks for sharing the video - I agree with the others - Though cute as a button, he definitely looks more like a yorkie-poo or yorkie-chon than a Yorkie. I'm also glad Judge Judy knew her breeds and saw the seller for what she was! Great video! |
this was amazing!! Judge Judy once again i applaud you!! great episode to explain why ppl want a purebred, and what they expect and what they don't get from a greeder!!! |
Tampons? Huh?! |
Yall are welcome, I wanted to share it with you guys and the tampon and cup now that was hilarious never heard of that lol. All I can see at that breeder's house is little *yorkies* with tampons on their ears or cups running around lol, the things people do. |
What a cute yorkie-poo! I don't understand why people can't just be honest. She could probably sell it as a yorkie-poo and get a few hundred. It annoyed me at the end that she was still insisting that she was correct when she was blatantly caught in a lie. I'm not a breeder, nor have I known much about yorkies, but that bitch wouldn't even admit that the dog didn't resemble a pure bred yorkie. LIAR:animal36 |
Did anyone see the cigarette ad at the end? Whats up with that? |
The oldest and most recognized purebred dog registries in North America are AKC (American Kennel Club) CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) and UKC (United Kennel Club). The UKC is a well-respected registry for many rare breeds as well as those recognized by the AKC. UKC is the second oldest registry, behind AKC. If your dog is registered with anything other than AKC, United Kennel Club or the Canadian Kennel Club, the chances of your pup being bred by an irresponsible breeder rises dramatically. |

A couple weeks ago on Judge Judy, there was an episode of this dog owner (she owned a Yorkie name Gucci I think) and left it for someone to take care of him. When she came back, the defendant claimed the Yorkie ran away. But there were like three doors that he had to go through before running away. The plaintiff heard from friends that the defendant had sold the yorkie. I feel so bad for her, I don't know what I would do if someone did that to my baby. |

Definitely an interesting case... This is why you buy from a reputable breeder and not a pet store or greeder. That dog definitely wasn't full yorkie and I'm glad the owner had the guts to take it to court. |
And this is why I love Judge Judy- I love how she mentions the "breeders" intentions and just kept laying into her! Way to go! By the way, Max is adorable, full Yorkie or not. |
