Has anyone used Scaredy Cut before? Hi everyone, I wanted to try to groom Rosie myself. So after researching I came across this product call Scaredy Cut. Has anyone used it before? It looks fairly easy to use. They even have a demo video showing a Yorkie! SCAREDY CUT Silent Home Pet Grooming Kit |
It definitely looks interesting! Have you tried trimming her with regular trimmers? |
Seems a lot slower than using regular trimmers. I got Joey use to the noise by just turning it on and not using it upside down and feeding cheerios. So he got use to the noise and a little pressure before we actually used it to cut. |
I haven't tried regular trimmers yet. One day I came home and my hubby decided to cut Rosie's hair. She was a total mess... her hair cut was so UGLY... I didn't know what to do. If I took her to the groomers they might shave her since her hair was so short! so I decided to let her hair grow for now but I was looking at options on how to fix how her hair looks like right now. I bought a trimmer set for regular hair and this Scaredy Cut but was just wondering if they were good or not. |

I groom my yorkie with the scaredy cut clippers and they work pretty well, it may look like a hack job at first but once you get used to using them it looks pretty nice. I also use the tiny scaredy cut clippers and I love those. You can cut pretty quickly with them too, the first time I used them I had my yorkie's hair done in about 30 minutes or less. The only thing I didn't like about them is that the comb attachment is hard to get off, making it a little difficult to change out. I personaly like the scardey cut clippers and use them often, it will just take some practice to make the haircut look nice. I hope this helps :) Btw, I go with the puppy cut, so I just trim it down short. If you want something longer length I suggest using a different product. |
