One story I've read one story from a foreign yorkie forum. Yorkshire terrier was attacked by pitbull. the condition of the dog has been very serious: his lung was bitten through and even vets (an owner took many possible advices)haven't given any guarantees. The owner does all her best. I respect people like she soo much. Hopefully, her yorkie will be fine. But there are another people in this story - owners of pitbull. I hate people like them and feel sorry for its dog. I believe, there are NOT a bad dogs, they are bad OWNERS. When yorkie's owner called them and told what happened (she wants to return her vet bills), they said:" what do you want from me, my dog dosn't like small animals. Do you want me to put my dog down? Why do you spend so much money and ask me to pay all vet bill back to you when no guarantee? Let's I will buy a new dog for you  and you will leave me alone". When she asked him to control his dog, he said:" I cannot control him, he doesn't let me to do that, and you shouldn't have small fry"   Unbelievable :thumbdown trash :thumbdown she is going to sue them.... |
Good I am glad she is sueing and I hope she takes him to the cleaners. I dont agree that it is all the owners fault. Those type of dogs are prone to be vicious. In our state a pack of 6 pitbulls mauled an old lady to death she was out in her yard raking leaves. You never hear of a pack of yorkies mauling someone to death. |
In this situation IS owner fault ONLY. Sorry, I cannot explain EVERYTHING what I know about this story, but those type of people cannot raise ANY breed because of its mentality. |
OMG I hope that the little Yorkie will recover! Why oh why can't dog owners keep their pets on leashes and not let them run wild. I've always been a believer that if you own a big dog then its your responsibility to keep them in your own yard. If you let them run wild then you are responsible for what your pet does. |
I agree there are bad owners but again you dont hear of a beagle, yorkie, collie and many other types of dogs doing this. I blame the owners for the type of dog they chose. I know alot of people wont agree with me on this. In my neighborhood there are alot of vicious dogs like that so I have my own opinion on it. |
I disagree about the types of dogs that bite or attack. A golden retreiver attacked my poodle this summer. He was in no way provoked he just walked over and before I knew it he had my dogs head in his mouth shaking him. This was a person friendly dog and no one even dreamed he'd do this. Luckily there was several people there (I was to horrified to do anything but scream) and got my baby fast enough to not cause any permanant damage. But this dog runs free all the time, and goldens are not known to act like this, he may wind up killing someones beloved pet right in front of their eyes and yes I think its the owners resposibility to keep their dogs under control. Not just rotties but ALL dogs. |
I think its the owners resposibility to keep their dogs under control agree. Those people think that dogs are something not very important:" You do not like my dog? Ok, I will put him down and I will not have any trouble  Your dog is so sick, why don't you replace him? " it is just mentality :thumbdown |
That's like "Oh, you got a sick child? Well, just put him down and have another!" Some people!!!!!!! |
