].....when Edith Jones is on the job!!! Edie waits by the mail slot and yanks the mail from the mailman's hand. Then she proceeds to shred the intruder (the mail). I feel a lot safer knowing Edie is here to protect me from the evil Pottery Barn catalogs. :p

Here she is on the job with a shredded flyer (in the foreground).

The downside of having such great protection? Your non-junk mail gets shredded too!

I am firmly convinced that paper was invented and was covering the earth when the creator looked down and said "Well, now, I have to make Yorkies to take care of all these sheets of paper!" And, lordy mercy, do they do a good job!! Mostly the good stuff is the most fun for them. You watch-when you are looking for coupons to save you money or an overdue bill to pay, you will see these little imps hiding behind something with a BIG grin on their faces,,Brats, that's what they are but oh, so loving!

Both my Yorkie and Chihuahua LOVE to shread paper. I am a naughty mommy because sometimes I will give them a paper towel and let them have a ball. It's easy enough to clean up and it makes me :D

How funny!!!!! Does this mean we might see her on America's Funniest Videos during the "mail time" section? They all seem to have "one love" in common.....and that is shredding the mail. I will have to admit, I also give mine a paper towel. or junk mail to shred. It sure keeps him entertained for a verrrryyyy long time. And it is easy to clean up.

:animal36 I have a paper shredder too! He is 13 weeks and loves to shredd his papers when no one will listen to him. They are such characters. I think I will start bringing my papers that need shredding home....Rudy could save me alot of time. LOL

Brandy loves shredding her wee wee pads or newspapers I put down in there. She got our pug into it too. It's so impossible to get mad at her!
