Oh My.... I've been so worried about Jazzie since her spay on the 17th of this month, and this morning she decided she was going to try and give me an all out heart attack! Doc said no running, jumping or exercise for 2 weeks. So this morning, I let Jazzie out of her kennel and what's she do?! JUMPED up on my bed!! Granted, it's not very high off the floor right now cause our box spring busted and we have to buy a new one, so we put a plywood frame under it until we get time to go get a box spring. Al together, with the mattress on it, it's about a foot an a half off the ground, but still, I don't want her doing that till the two weeks are up. Scared the daylights outta me. Do you think this will hurt her healing process? |
Nah...she wouldn't have done it if she was hurting...but hopefully she will tone it down for you ! :D |
She should be fine:) Bogie did that two days after his neuter, but it was on the couch which is about 15" off the floor. My DIL who is a vet tech was here and I scolded him for doing it and she told me it was ok. He gave me a heart attack too:p |

Luckily for me, my little one bryleigh is too small to jump onto anything!! She was spayed this past Thursday... She has no choice but to use her stairs!! Lol |

Two days after Gracie was spayed she was back to her normal self. She has pet steps to get on the bed but she does occasionally jump on the couch or the recliner. Nothing is going to break. Dogs are smarter than we give them credit for. If it is over their comfort level they won't do it. You might want to prevent her from rough play with other pets but other than that or jumping off the kitchen table:eek: I'd bet she is pretty safe. |

Tink made it up on the bed 3 days after (after she came home, 8 days from day of surgery) her LS surgery! I went and bought a ton of those cheapo laundry baskets and put them on all the beds and furniture, lol. |
