Is this strange? :aimeeyorkMy puppy likes to turn around and put her bum up against our legs? Is this normal? I don't mind it, it doesn't hurt anyone in any way its just kind of funny. She's not sitting on our foot or anything she just simply backs her cute little tush so that its against our ankle or leg and leaves it there for a few seconds then moves away and does it again. I've heard this is a sign of submission but I'm not sure, and i figured you guys would know since you're the best :) hehe:aimeeyork |
That's cute. Daisy likes to sleep with her little bum touching my arm or shoulder or something. I always thought she was doing it so she can tell if you are getting ready to get up and leave her. Maybe it's something like that, maybe she feels secure. It's cute though. |
That sounds so cute! Our cat used to do that when we had one. Katie Scarlett seems want to curl up next to me with her bum facing me when she sleeps during the day on the floor or on the couch (depending where I am). Maybe she is trying to keep her booty warm? Tee hee! :) |
My late Sahyleigh used to do that, except she would sit on my foot. It was just so very cute. |

Joel does that alot. And sometimes he puts his back leg over something too. I thought it was a boy thing but I dont know. |
When my Nicky was younger, he used to do that... I thought it was cute too, how he could walk backward toward me just as good as he could walk forward lol. I think it is a puppy thing cause Nicky is now 3 and he doesn't do that anymore, but he does LOVE to walk backward to get to my feet to lay on them. Nicky has turned into a feet lover... lol he loves to lay on, lick and just be by feet, especially mine. A few other people have asked me why he does that, I always say that he just likes feet. It doesn't bother me I am used to it.:D |

Paris would do the walk backward with his bum curled towards me walk also. He wanted me to pick himup, which I did! |

Three of my girls have their behinds touching me every night when we are on the sofa. They just need to touch I guess. :confused: |
:) I kinda feel better knowing Winnie isn't the only one that does this! Hehe Yay my Winnie's not weird! I'm sure she doesnt do it to be picked up though cuz when she does and I try to pick her up she takes off haha Little Bugger. |
my little girl does that, except when im laying on the couch she gets on my chest and backs her butt up close to my face. She dosnt touch it but just gets very close and stands there. Never could tell why |
My Rosie does that some times, but mainly what she does is hump my dads leg when he is playing with our other yorkie Nico! It is pretty comical to see! |
