Making dog bows ok so I went to the craft store and bought a bunch of ribbon and some other things to try and make home made dog bows. I got a few made and I will take some pictures so yall can tell me what ya think. They are not as nice as the rest of yas that make them but I think they will work and it is a lot cheaper than buying them. I will post pics later. |
Yay for you! That is great! I can't wait to see them! You have encouraged me too! I bought clips but haven't tried tying any yet. I think I will do that today. :) |
Cann't wait to see pictures. I made some to match some dresses and they aren't as nice as what I've seen on here. But I cann't wait to see yours. |
I'm sure they will be very nice. Besides, practice makes perfect!:) |
Oh yeah,lol, that's on my list too! I'm sure you'll do fine!:D |
Oh that's so great! I did that too a while back..bought bunches more ribbon for bows for the babies. Bought neat organizers, too, and made a few, then realized how much more I need to do it right. Now looking for more stuff again. Would love to see pix of yours! :D |
What kind of stiffener do they use on the bow ribbon? Mine look pretty but would be prettier if stiffer. |
Congrats to you, anxious to see pics..Prissy doesn't give me any free time to make anything..I do well to do what needs done here. |

I do not know what it is called, I was looking for 'the spray' you can get at the craft shop that makes ribbon stiff, too. I have not found it yet because every time I have been there I have not had enough time to really look. I may check the art supply, too...if they are still in business. |
I did not use any stiffner I just pulled them really tight. I am gonna upload the pics and yall can tell me what ya think |
