Bad hair Jinny came to live with me yesterday. I just love her to pieces. She is very sweet. My problem is her hair is fuzzy and thin on her body. Should I have her groomed down and start all over? Do you recommend some type of vitamin or food? She is 7 months old today. I am not looking for a long coat just healthy looking. This looks like a great forum. I am hoping to get to know you all! :dog: Melissa~ |
Welcome to YorkieTalk . :wavey: Do you have pictures of her ? |
I wouldnt get it shaved down unless it is matted real bad. Maybe it is just the puppy coat still. I use grizzly Salmon oil. It replenishes the oil in their coat. I get it out of the Dr Fosters and Smith online catalog. |
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...bury/jenny.jpg Here is a link. Not to sure how to post a picture here. It is saying my pictures are to big. I guess I need to go make them little then uplaod. I am having a hard time getting a picture. She don't want me to put her down. |

She is a beauty . |
Her hair just looks a little shaggy like its never been cut. I went to the groomers recently and got a great cut for my female who I am letting her hair grow out. I told them I was letting the hair grow out and I wAnted a yorkie cut. She trimmed the ears and around the face a little bit. She still looks shaggy in the face if she doesnt have the topknot in but that just goes along with letting the hair grow out. You might go to the groomer and ask them to do that. |
Thank you! That is what I will do. Quote:

She looks so tiny. She's cute! I would maybe say to be careful and not do too much to upset her since she just came to live with you yesterday. I'd give her some time to get used to your home and your family. |
