New to Yorkie Talk Hi Everyone! I'm new to YT, I'm not a Yorkie Mommy yet, but I look forward to learning everything I can from first hand accounts, along with studying before bringing home "the baby". :) Hope you all are having a wonderful day! ~S.Noelle |

Thanks for the warm welcome!! I'm planning to bring her home in the next few months (late Spring/ early Summer). I just want to make sure everything is just right, and ready for her arrival, and I would like the weather to be favorable as well. I live in the Northeast, we are known for harsh winters. I've narrowed down Breeders, and will be visiting them soon. So this will be even more exciting! S.Noelle |
Hello and welcome... |
:welcome4: to YT! glad to have you join us :) |
Welcome to Yorkie Talk! I hope you are finding Yorkie Talk helpful. I lived in MA and NH so I know what you mean about harsh winters. Although, this winter seems to be much warmer. I got my pup in late summer. It worked out well as far as potty training goes. Once the winter came however, she didn't want to go out at all. It was much to cold for her. She started using the wee wee pads again. That worked out fine. When the weather was warmer, she was back to going outdoors. She didn't seem to have a problem doing her business in either place. I think I was pretty lucky. Good luck with your training. :) I know you'll enjoy your little angel, no matter when you bring her/him home. |
