Do you think she will ever grow into these ears? 1 Attachment(s) Seriously, her ears seem so big, I think I liked them better when the tips flops.. Attachment 362885 |
I love her ears!!! & Yes! Maxy had big ears for the longest time, but now they don't look so big anymore. But her ears are cute she's precious! |
Her ears are cute. I was expecting some big bunny rabbits ears. Her ears are not that big. |
aww I love those ear Brandy's are almost the same.. |
She will grow and you'll be surprised! Her ears aren't as big as many. She's a little doll! You can always let the hair grow a bit on the edges and feather it. That looks cute, too.:) |
Thanks everyone, my husband told me to quit calling her ears, he says she is a little lady. LOL I swear she has brought us so much joy. I admit I missed having a puppy, Yoshi is 6.5 yrs old and very sedate, always has been, then bring in Prissy, a ball of energy,,just love it all and we feel so blessed to have our furkids in our lives. |
Those ears are gorgeous!!!! Love them and her!!!! |
Cute ears - not that big. But if they bother you, let the hair grow out in front and behind them to about 2" and then trim the top 1/3 of the ears close. The other hair growing around the base and lower 2/3 of the ears will mask much of the actual size of the ears by standing up and out around them and with the tops of the ears trimmed close, the effect is one of small ears peeking out of all the hair. Look at pictures of other Yorkies and you will see that a lot of non-show Yorkie owners keep the ear tips clipped short and let the rest of the ear and surrounding hair grow out long enough to stand up and out but not long enough to lay down - and mask the most of the ear size in hair. Sometimes clipping the hair on the head shortish so that it will stand up more and not lie down flat from length will also mask ear size, too. Tibbe has a sort of cottonish coat and keeping his head hair shortish on the top causes it to stand up and make his ears look smaller than they actually are. |

Karen, thank you. That's what I had in mind. I had never seen that before and loved all the examples and little dolls on that page. What a precious breed these Yorkies are and how unique and unusual each and every one of them is. |
I love them! I don't think they are big at all! |
I love her ears! She actually doesn't have large ears at all... I grow the hair out on my male's and his ears blend in more with his head. |
oh there not bad she is soooo cute! |
She is adorable and her ears are not that big. Jack has/had big ears too and actually my friends used to make fun of him but he wouldn't be Jack without this big 'ole ears. You baby is precious and looks beautiful to me. |
