Yay! Katie Scarlett made a new friend!
Hey guys! I am just so excited! Katie Scarlett made another new friend at class today. We are taking a 'Moving On Up' class at our local dog training center. It is the next class after 'Puppy Kindergarten.' She is always pretty good with all the dogs there no matter their size. I think she thinks is as big as most of them. LOL. Well today she and this little dog (I cannot remember the breed but I will ask next time) had the best time. The other little dog is named Chloe. She is very timid and tends to bark at everything. But she isn't barking because she is going to attack or anything like that. She barks when she is scared. Well she let Katie Scarlett come up to her and they did their little introductions. From that point on they were like peanut butter and jelly! They stayed right next to each other the whole class! It was so cute to see her interacting with another small dog. So far all the friends she has made are big dogs. But her and Chloe are going to be fast friends I think. I gotta remember to take a camera to puppy class next week and take pictures to share. It was just the cutest thing!
And she made Momma proud today! She is getting so much better at her 'stay' command. Today we worked on saying the stay command, dropping the leash (mind you the room is full of 8 other dogs) and walking a few feet back. She is supposed to stay even with all of the commotion going on and would'nt you know it...she did it! I was so proud! :) |
