I may have a teapot:) I just weighed Tink and she weighs 6.2 pounds!!!! She sure doesn't seem that heavy! LOL She was born on August 12 so she'll be 6 months old on February 12. She still has some growing to do!! Her mom and dad were both less than 6 pounds. Guess Tink got the teapot gene somewhere...LOL |
LOL! I bet she is a cutie! What do you use to weigh with? Katie Scarlett was 4 pounds right before her spay but I think she has put on a little weight. I need to weigh her to keep a check. But as long as she is healthy I don't mind how big or small she is. But I do like her current size. She's so portable. LOL. I mean, I let her walk a lot of places but when it's raining or there is a puddle, I pick her up to keep her as dry as I can and let's face it...4 pounds is easy to pick up! :) |
Of course she's a cutie...the most beautiful Yorkie in the world;) I agree with you about her portability!! So easy to scoop her up and carry her along!! I use our digital bathroom scale. I weigh her with me and then just me and subtract for the difference. |
Good thinking! I will try to do that...although I'm not forward to looking at my own weight! Tee hee! I must be a whole box of 'teapots' when weighed. ;) |
Teapots are the best. Of course, I may be slightly biased (all this is typed as my 9-pound pup sleeps in my lap) |

Well, notice that I didn't include the actual weights I subtracted! LOL |

It's an affectionate term for the babies that are over 7 pounds:) |
How do you know how big they will be? My Sampson weighed in at 6.3 lbs (at the vet 2 weeks ago) and he was only 19 weeks then. His parents looked to be about 5 to 7lbs. When do Yorkies stop growing? I'm thinking he's going to get pretty big.. |
