wow, this kenic emu oil is awesome ! just got my shipment of this today. first it smells heavenly but very light. tried it on oscar and brushed him with my wooden pin brush and it hardly snagged. i then combed him and no snarls, yay ! his hair is shiny and he smell so pretty... |
Sweet! Does he normally mat? Does the product make the coat feel oily at all? Just curious...it is nice to know what works from someone who's actually used it instead of the product's marketing dept. ! lol Thanks for the info! :) |
Hi you are welcome , yeah it so great. Actually he never gets matted just a few snags on the ends that i usually comb out after but with the emu oil i only had to use my wooden pin brush and comb his face and beard.. There is no oily feel to his hair, just feels soft . |
we were talking about the Emu oil the other day on another group and I would love to know if it leaves an oily residue in the hair at all? hugs, and thanks, |
Nice! Mine don't normally mat, but when the 'Beggars' Lice' seeds are out there, and a couple other weedy-seedy's, I use a bit of something. Some just pop right out with a pin brush, but the fuzzier seeds...not so much. Thanks, again. Oh, yes...I forgot to say Hi! before...sorry 'bout that...I get in such a hurry...:D |
You are welcome navillusc, i hope it works for ya.. |
Hi carmen, it does not leave the hair oily. It is really light and it smells great.. |
So do you spray it on like a grooming spray? I know this must sound dumb but this is new to me. |
Hi joyce, yeah just spray it right on the coat. I used quite a bit and it was not oily at all and when he dried his hair was so shiny and silky and it seems to not make him itch at all like the other sprays i have tried.. |

YOU ARE WELCOME , HERE IS THE LINK WHERE I BOUGHT MINE. CHEAPEST PLACE I HAVE FOUND SO FAR... Kalaya Emu Oil Spray |
Wow...that sounds great! I'd love to get some for Peyton! |
The shipping is as much and some places even more than the oil. Does anyone know where you can buy this without ordering? |

It cost $4.89, but the service charge brings it up to $9.78. Too much!! It says it contains only 1% emu oil, but then it says it contains on oil. That's confusing. |
