Please help me talk some sense into this person! He/she has trouble potty training her yorkie so she is planning to keep it in the yard!!! It's way to cold here to do that. Please help me giving her suggestions. http://www.craigslist.org/sby/pet/115117158.html |
OMG!!!! Have you told her about yorkietalk? PLEASE ask her to join us so we can help with training issues! |
Yes! Send her this way! I don't know... diapers or a belly band would be my suggestion. |
I agree with everyone that already posted - and stress she can KILL her yorkie if she does this....Oh wow - why don't some people just stick with stuffed animal toys ! |
I don't know what to say without sounding very rude about this person. If she has this little sense, I don't know what anyone could say that would change her mind. If I were there and it was cold, I would call animal protection. This is abuse pain and simple. If she doesn't care anymore than that, she ought to give the pup to someone that will take care of it. sorry to be so abrupt but it isn't directed at you. |
This is a joke right??? Please tell this person (whomever it may be) that putting a yorkie in the back yard is a big no-no. They will regret it when the poor thing ends up dead or stolen. |
It's just to cold out side for these little ones. If she plans on keeping it out side then she dont need it. |

Gosh whats she thinking! Not only is it too cold outside there are preditors like hawks and coyotes. Please tell her to reconsider!!!!! |
This is what she posted. You guys can go and make a reply to her. Please do so. :( I have been having a real hard time potty training my yorkie pup. She refuses to go on the pee pee pad and when I put her in her pen, she will hold and hold until she is let out and then she will just pee anywhere. This has been going for quite some time now. She doesn't even bother to sniff around before she squad and pee. No signs of warning. I was wondering if it's okay to put my yorkie in the yard instead of inside the house confined in the play pen. This way she has more more to run about as well as getting rid of that awful odor problem inside. My only concern is that the weather is too cold for her. I am not sure if a small 5 month old yorkie pup can withstand the winter cold. However I do plan to buy a igloo/dogloo, pad it, and elevated with some bricks before I put her out in the patio area. Also, my other quesiton is that I have wood chips in my patio, I heard they can be toxic and or cause allergy. Any assistant would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
Craigslist Pets section has trolls that post this all the time. Just flag the post so it gets removed. She's just trying to rile people up. |
