I just got this picture from my fiance confirming my little couch/pillow hogs!!! :D

Mine do the same thing, though. Brody will jump up and sit exactly where I was gonna...it's like he knows! lol

At my house, it's generally toys rather than pillows I have to move out of the way to sit down...whether or not they jump into my sit-space the instant I leave or arrive...including when they follow me...and beat me back to the seat. Sometimes, after I've moved everything out of the way, I'll feel something jabbing me only to find I missed a toy! :p

We have cats, too, and I had bought some little plastic 'figure-8' cat toys...Catnip Flippers...which the cats wouldn't touch. They are ridged plastic toys that are supposed to flip around in the floor, keeping the cat occupied for a while.

After we got Brody and discovered he liked cat toys, he found one of those spikey plastic toys where a cat had hidden it, and would play with it, and chew on it. Then we got Mia...who also liked that particular toy and would take it to bed with her. Mia...clever girl...figured out exactly where to put it while sleeping so it was safe and she could find it again in the morning.

They come 3 to a pk but the rest of them're still strapped to the pkg and I don't think the other 2 'flipper' toys will ever get cut off that card. While the babies love them, DH ... not so much. Apparently these particular toys are not 'crevass' friendly and DH is unhappy waking up with one 'wedgied'...:p lol
