It sounds like everyone could use some snow - I'd be willing to sell ours for $1 a tonne. Come up and pick it up - PLEASE!! We've just gone through -25 degrees C (equivalent to -13F) and we've had a lot of snow - so, if you're missing snow, let me know and I'll tell you where it's been hiding! |

in northeast pennsylvania it's been SO nice out! didn't even need a jacket today...i walked out in a tshirt and was so suprised... it snowed like twice but melted not even a day later !! |

Been so mild here in New York City also. today 55 tomorrow 60!!!! It is a little scary, reading all the different states everyone here is from and how mild the weather has been all over... can you say-global warming???? Just a thought! |

A coworker read the heat wave is being caused by unusually large solar flares. I don't know if it's true. |

The weather is odd here, too. I work in DC and yesterday the high was 47, today and tomorrow the high is 65 and then the end of the week is back down to the low 50's and 40's. In the morning, I wear my heavy wool coat, hat and scarf only to carry home or hung over my purse. Crazy weather. It snowed briefly a little after Christmass but it was more of an icy type of snow. DS was disappointed that he couldn't make snow angels. |
My son called me from VA. yesterday and said it was 60 degrees and he's loving it, especially since he just moved there from MN. My favorite time of year is winter here in CA. and we have been having the most incredibly beautiful weather and I'm going to continue to relish every single minute of it because I know how nasty March, April, May and June are. There is a saying here........May gray & June gloom.........and it's so true. March and April is very wet and extremely windy. |
