I'm so glad Callie is resting, and I'm sorry the pin was causing discomfort. My Barney tore his CCL and meniscus and he is having surgery on Friday. They'll also fix his LP. Anyway, I worry about keeping him comfy but anything has to be better than what he is going through now. I'll pray for Callie, and I hope this makes all the difference. Keep us posted.

prayers for Callie! :love: My yorkie broke his leg about a yr ago. The vet wanted us to put him to sleep.....:mad:. No way was that was going to happen. Although he walks with a limp still today, he is healthy, and happy!

Poor Barney I will definitely keep him and you in my prayers. I constantly worried and worry about keeping her comfy I went to like a million stores trying to find the perfect bed for her pen for her recovery.

Callie seems to be doing pretty good. She ate a small meal last night and did not throw it up or anything so I gave her a pain pill. I can already tell she is walking better even though there is a slight limp still I bet she will be walking great in a week or so. The small incision they made to take the pins out is also looking great today seems to be getting smaller already and no redness. I am so happy that I think we fixed the problem. They did say there was a small cyst that was forming from the rubbing. Also in the paper work they gave me and sent our vet said he knee looks great in the xray. The vet tech said for free they did a tap or something like that on her knee and looked at it under the microscope and that it looked great. I really just love my orthopedic surgeon and his staff they are all so awesome. My mom thinks its funny because the surgeon is this this really tall big guy yet he is so gentle with Callie. They made us sign a paper for an estimate of how much it was gonna cost and the vet tech said to stop at the desk and pay half of it well we stopped at the desk and the nice women who worked the desk was like oh we know you and you don't have to pay anything until you come back to get her. Its so funny to me how much Callie has changed my grandpa and how she has him wrapped around her little paw he will do an pay anything for her with no fuss but if me and my grandma talk about needed anything he fusses about it lol. He is so not an animal person but Callie sure has changed him I think he even may love my moms yorkie Sammy but Callie definitely paved the way for that.

Awww that's so sweet about your grandpa. If any pup can melt the heart of a man it is a yorkie...I have always said that! :)

I noticed that your Callie looks a lot like my Maggie (when she's groomed!). I think it might be the floppy ears. Is she all Yorkie? Everybody thinks Maggie is a yorkie but she's a yorkiepoo.
