I'd rather look at this handsome devil all day while he sleeps and snores! He's pretending too that I don't exist :D at the moment.

It tough working from home though :-( Sometimes Romeo will demand attention when I'm on a conference call/presenting to an audience. If he doesn't get attention he will start with low growls which escalates to loud barks. I actually run away from him and lock myself in a room until my mtg is over and I feel so horrible when I do that (thank goodness it's not often).

I work from home also (have for many years), it is a blessing we get to spend time with our little Yorkies. I was on a project where I had to go the office for 2 years, it killed me leaving Sophie Kate at home.

I agree she is a great office mate when she is not barking to get my attention (we are working on that). One time when she was a puppy I had left my Blackberry downstairs, when it started ringing she grabbed it and was on her way upstairs with it - I like to think to deliver it to me but honestly she probably was going to chew on it.

She grabbed the BB oh that must have been hilarious! I am trying to teach Romeo to answer the phone. Instead he will bark and run in circles until I answer.

On those occasional days when I choose to go to the ofc, Romeo's grandma "puppy sits"!

Well said DvlshAngel985 - I was thinking this very thing! I get jealous of my hubby sometimes too because he is home all day (disable vet - two time Iraq war)... Then again, he does miss out on Jack's welcome that I get every night...

I love being at home with my baby all day! I also love that he is so well behaved and small so he can come with me when I do have to leave sometimes.

When I worked outside the home I always felt so bad for my little guy because he was home alone all day. Of course as he got older I think he slept most of the day but it must be so boring for them. Then when we would get home we had so much to do that we really didn't spend a lot of time with him but I know he was glad just to have us there with him. He was such a good little fella.

I'm so glad to be home with Gracie most of the time. She hardly knows what it's like to spend the day all alone. When I do leave she gives me the pout face but she doesn't cry. I imagine she must go climb up on the bed and take a nap while I'm gone.

I know what you mean about leaving "these precious darlings alone". Romeo has never been alone at home and I'm afraid to even test him and see how he will react for a couple hours. I'm so paranoid about leaving him that I even pass up overnight business trips!

Fortunately I have my daughters and my mom to Romeo-sit when I must go somewhere and cannot take him -- the office and food shopping. He's always happy when I get home but he won't let me touch him for hours :-( because he's showing me that he is upset that I left him behind.

On the rare occasion I get to work from home, both dogs crack out their squeaky toys and go to town :o

Everyone thinks I have birds until I tell em it's the dogs.

Romeo, this is Max, Kacee's boyfriend. Just because your name is Romeo and my mom says you are cute in your picture doesn't mean you can get sweet with my girl.

Romeo and his mom spoil each other nicely. :)
