Well, Brasco did it again! Grrrrr! He keeps peepeeing on my snowman and then runs and hides under the bed! I can't get him to come and when he does come out, I say to him--There's my baby!!! Then he runs and hides under the bed again. Now he has been under there for about an hour....
Ok so he just came out, took him outside and he peepeed again like a good boy, came back in and ran under the bed again! And he even skipped his treat, which is not like him. I even tried to bribe him out with his treat and...nothing. Now I have never yelled at him, but if I caught him in the act of peepeeing, he would get a firm no! While making him look me right in the eyes. Other than that, I would just carry him outside and when he went, give him lots of praise! Like I did with Luigi! And Brasco has been sooo good, til the past couple of weeks! I don't get it, am I doing something wrong? I feel soo bad that he feels that he has to run under the bed all the time. :(
At this point, I really don't care if he pees on the snowman, I just feel bad about him hiding under the bed, he has been there for most of the day.

Here he is under the bed....

As frustrating as it is about the snowman and then him hiding under the bed, it is a quite cute pic of him there. lol As much as it breaks your heart, he does need to learn that the snowman is not potty place. If you let him get away with that, he'll start tesing you and pee on other things to see what he can get away with. Try closing your bedroom door so he can't go hide there. Or is the snowman in there?

I am out in the family room, so when Brasco does come out, I get up to go shut the door, but the little rascal is sooo fast, he beats me in there. Same with when I take him outside. When the door is shut, he whines and whine and scratches at my door and has made marks in it already. And we have only been in our house for 2 monthes. So I don't want him ruining my doors. He seems content under there, but I feel bad.

If he's content, I'd just leave him be. He's probably figured out now that if he goes under there you'll sit there and beg him to come out. He'll be fine, and a much better yorkie for it if you continue the "no peeing on snowman" and just let him be under the bed. And I agree, those little guys are QUICK!

lol...im sorry about him peeing on ur snowman, but that picture is just the cutest thing i ever seen. hes totally playing to the camera! lol too cute! hope u solve his pee problem <33

They really are funny! And I do agree, he is probably testing you. I think they test you all the time, just to see what they can get away with. Maybe he is putting himself in "time out" under the bed because he knows he deserves it. Whatever the reason, I don't think you should feel bad about correcting his bad behavior. Nor should you feel bad about him hiding under the bed as long a he seems to be content. I suspect it is some sort of "stage" he is going through and the more you ignore it the sooner it will pass. (I don't mean ignore the peeing on the snowman, if you catch him at it you should correct him.)

Oh Poor Little Brasco, the snowman pee-er! I wish I had a clue what to tell you to do ;( I\'m sorry, tell Brasco to come out of hiding and join the party!

Bwasco, can I tome dit under da bed wif you? Daddy took us to da GWOOMER\'S today! I wook vewy pwetty but I hated it! Dey cut Cinder\'s toenaikls too short and her bwed! It scawed my mommy! Wuv, Wexy :p
