Finally! As you may remember, I posted a few weeks ago about yorkies and larger dogs. Well, after reading all your wonderful and encouraging replies, I decided to go ahead and make an addition to the furry family :) My new little one comes home from the breeder on Friday, and I am so incredibly excited! I had originally wanted a girl, but I fell in love with the little guy's personality. He is 10 weeks, and he's absolutely precious! I'll post pictures as soon as I can. Well, already having a dog at home, it is pretty puppy/dog proof, but I went back through every inch of the place, and tried to get out of the big silly doberman mindset and think small. I'm pretty sure I got everything, but I'm wondering if any of you have some last minute suggestions...perhaps something you may have missed before bringing your baby home. I'm going puppy supply shopping tonight, and am going to make a futile attempt at keeping myself distracted until tomorrow afternoon. The excitement is killing me!! |
Congratulations They are a lot of work but worth every minute. :p |
wow how lucky are you, another baby.. congrats to you.. lets see pictures as soon as he comes home.. |
Congrats! You won't regret your decision. The only advice I can offer is that these small ones are much more fragil as babies then a bigger breed dog. Just watch your step unbtil he has learned to get out of the way and make sure he is eating! You will love him to pieces!!!! Keep us posted and post some pics! |
Awwwww... Congratulations!! This is sooooo exciting and I cant wait to see pics of your little luv puppy... :) |
You might just want to clear out your whole house furniture and all!!! :) JK but really they will chew on everything so be aware. They are a lot of work too just make sure you have lots of patience and things will be ok I bet you are very excited about you new little one take lots of pics because he will grow up fast!!! :congrats: |
