I'm sketching my yorkies and it's hard to get a really good pose. I know there are so many great pictures of yorkies on this site (some are mine :) )
Do I need to pm the person before I print out their picture? I just want more practice sketching. If I do use their picture I will give a copy to them. Please let me know how this works. I wouldn't want to print out a copy and get someone mad or anything! :)

You can use Chachi and Jewels if you want. Their most recent piicture is in the My Yorkie section page 3 entiled Chachi and Jewels groom. Or I have ones from when they were pups in the photo gallery.

You should be safe if you just want to print out a picture for personal use, as that is well within your right to do so. You can also sketch from those pictures or do any kind of artwork with those pictures as well.

However, if you do sell a picture or painting of someone's Yorkie, you'd definitely have to get permission to do that... But I think most people would love to see you do artwork of their Yorkie.

There are certainly enough pictures on this site for you to choose from! :D I can't imagine why it would matter. We enjoy seeing your work! :)

Thanks everyone. I've talked to a great artist named Ginger Brady and she gave me some tips. She says the more practice the better you get. Thanks YT you are great!!

You're free to use any of mine if you see some. I've been slow on posting lately.. but there is this one picture of maggie that is from the day i got her. I think it'd be good practice because it's close up. But it's your call. Here it is if you'd like :)

I think most people would be honored if you used their yorkie pics to practice with - good luck in your art.... and you sure have my permission ...

Anyone who can draw animals is pretty good in my opinion - it's so hard to catch their little souls
