Skateboarding Yorkie Lilo
 
We bought Lilo a Skateboard Sunday night and she caught on Fast so we made her a Skateboarding video. :D So much fun. now if only i could tach her to bake cookies... LOL ;)

Lilo is freaking AWESOME!!! She is like the coolest punk rock chick around. Amazing job you have done with her! I've definitely never seen a skateboarding Yorkie. You have inspired me to work more with Jackson now, as he has yet to have all fours on the board. AWESOME! I am so glad you decided to make a video and upload, I was so looking forward to seeing this. :) It just shows ALL Yorkies, even ones as little at 2lbs, are capable of learning and doing advanced tricks, way to be a great spokesman for the breed, Lilo!

Thanks guys :] Learning is a constant thing for the both of us. I can only hope that Lilo continues to enjoy training and i continue to have time to work with her. LOL

I thought the outfit I picked for the video fit the feel of a skateboarding yorkie haha. With all the skateboarding bulldogs and Jack russells around i figure we needed a yorkie :] But seriously Brit, this all started with Jackson and you. I'm being surrounded with smart yorkies and it just makes me more motivated to train Lilo. Now if you have any tips on Jump rope that would be great....:p

She is just the sweetest little doll! Her legs are just a little too short to put on the brakes! Just adorable.

Thanks again everyone! we tried to teach her the traditional way of pushing forward with one paw but she couldn't reach the ground. Lol so she has her own style of skateboarding. It's impossible to find a board thats smaller. so thats why we do it near the grass, she always jumps off before it hits anything or i stop her myself.

Oh my goodness, she is fantastic. I sat Bubba on my lap to watch her, he was so excited :) He definitely has a crush on little Lilo.

Freaking awesome! We tried skateboarding with Uni too, but we used a full sized board and she didn't really like it. Maybe we should get a smaller one. Where did you get that one? I love how she gets on while it's already moving. It's like a drop in on a half pipe, kinda. LOL Great job!

Thanks! It's a 18" backpack madrid skateboard. It's the smallest you can buy. They're expensive though. :eek: like 130 for a complete deck but we found Lilos on Craigslist for 50. There's a guy that recently posted one in the LA area for 60 if your interested. I'm sure you can haggle it down. It's still aLittle too tall but that's only because Lilo has short legs. Teach Uni and then they can have a skate " session" lol:p
