Also, a cotton coat has no shine and does not reflect light/is not shiny where a silky coat reflects light and shines/glows like polished metal.
The 'modified' coats I've seen referenced lately have not been mentioned in any of the info I've read, and I have not seen info on 'modified' coats with respect to eye glow color or sheen. It could be that shades of other than red eye glow color relate to states of texture modification in coat...but I am a genetics enthusiast...not an expert. I'd be interested in knowing more on the subject. :D
Brody's eyes glow blue to aqua and his coat is fine, silky, and shiny. Mia's eyes glow green to gold (very much like the YT logo "Yoda") and she has silky, shiny hair that is fine but a slightly thicker fine texture and is not quite as 'slippery' as Brody's, but it is thicker in volume and grows faster, too. Both Brody and Mia look a little 'cottony' immediately after a bath/blow dry, but the shine comes back soon after. They are both silky but have a slight difference in texture.
Pnut' s eyes in this photo glow blue to green and his hair reflects light with a sheen. That sounds more like a silky coat based on what I've come to understand. That his eyes do not glow red also sounds like he does not have a cottony coat.
Pnut is a cutie pie and he sure looks soft and silky to me. :p |
