Anyone have experience with Purina Care Pet Insurance? I checked it out and i can get full coverage which includes some heridtary conditions and wellness care... for a reasonable price. I am a bit skeptical though as i have never purchased pet insurance... Any advice ? Thanks... |

oh cool, thanks . how do i bump my question to the top? |
Post a reply. Every time someone replies to your thread it gets bumped back to the top. |
Why not ask at your Vet's office? They can tell what company pays well, they have to deal with the company's all of the time. Hope this helps...oh and you can call the office and not wait for a visit. |
wow thanks everyone. you have all been very helpful.... |
I have Trupanion and love it. This year I got back more then what I actually payed into. It covers 100% congential and hereditary condtions. I have had her covered since she was 5 months old so there is no way she could also have a pre-exsiting condition. So glad I did it. It truly has been a blessing. Their customer service is great and I get a check within a week of my claim. I haven't looked into Purina. My vet office recommended Trupanion to me. So glad they did! |
I have pet plan and haven't had to use it yet. But that is a good thing. |
Hubby and I always pay for everything out of pocket, how exactly does pet insurance work? |
Thanks guys. Well i am new to pet insurance myself but so far i know that you pay your monthly premium to the pet insurance co. When you have to go to the vet you bring your claim form with you. Vet fills out their part and you fill in your info. You then send it with a receipt to the insurance co and hopefully everything you had done that day is covered under your policy and you will be reimbursed for a percentage of the bill, depends on your policy |
Hi , thanks everyone. After reading all your posts i have done a little more research and i have decided to go with PET PLAN INSURANCE . It seems to have everything i am looking for in pet insurance. Thanks again... |
